Yui Hashimoto has bathplugged off to Super Taikyu ST-5, feeling she's not ready for open-wheel competition. Houkago Race Time now has an opening for a second driver. We would prefer drivers from our home country, but any driver who can convince us well enough is welcome.

If he's still up for it, sure we'll take him

Fujibayashi signs Male driver Atsushi Koizumi, persuades more female drivers to follow this route

Following Sakura Sekai's release from the team after a dismal 2019 season, Fujibayashi have decided to sign Atsushi Koizumi to partner their family member, Kurumi Fujibayashi. Team Principal Rio Fujibayashi has stated she is aware of a lack of female opportunities on the grid but is maintaining their challenge to persuade female drivers to participate. She has also stated that choosing a male driver would give us a "bit more power in upping their game of fighting towards the top".

Rio has lastly stated that their next driver in the future will "definitely" be a female.

With many of the leading teams from last season withdrawing from the series, the team could be in for a boost for contention for the championship this season.

Bachot pleased with F4 so far

Ex-F1 driver Silvio Bachot isn't a name you'd expect to see in Asian F4. But just this past month Bachot has said that he has had 2 'victories' already. The 1st was his signing as team principal of Magnum Petronas Team Malaysia,
who he has said that the teams target is to score points. "Obviously, we aren't expecting to win the championship in our 1st year, that would be stupid." Bachot said in his 1st interview as team boss, "But I would like to be able to at least score some points, especially at Sepang, the team's home race" He was also happy at Fujibayashi's recent signing of driver Atsushi Koizumi, whom Bachot manages. "Atsushi is young and has his career ahead of him,
and I think Fujibayashi, who have the same mentality to do well it seems, was the right choice for him, and I will also back their attempts to get more female drivers, as I think that Japanese women have shown themselves to be better than most men at racing, so it would be good to get more out of it." Bachot wants to eventually set up his own international team, and thinks that running MPTM will help him.

Some more liveries:

St. George Racing Alliance

(I've gone for kind of a retro look, as well as copying the extra dark-grey bits of this year's Williams)

Houkago Race Time

(this turned out better than I thought it would)

Yes, the Kubota United Nippon team will be running two different liveries (swapping between rounds) in 2020, alternating between a scheme incorporating Kubota Tractors' orange and black scheme and another using Kubota's corporate white and teal (which looks blue, thanks to GP2)
