Calinetic confirms this transaction. Calinetic also confirms that we will be running Judd engines for 2021

Team: Loonmotor Formula 1 Team
Design Philosophy: Economical-Aggressive
Design Complexity: Advanced
Engine Supplier: Judd
Price: 0
Contract Length: 1 year + 1 year option at €30 million, as per the deal stated by kevinbotz above

Jonkvrouw Katja Mahalia van Loon wrote:I am very pleased to announce that all necessary negotiations to bring the famed Loonmotor name back to Formula 1 have now been concluded. Longtime fans and devotees with the sport are obviously incredibly familiar with this storied name, which led to one of the great underdog stories in Formula 1 in the 1958 Australian Grand Prix, where at the hands of the legendary Ern Seeliger, a Loonmotor-powered Guidobaldi finished a brilliant 6th on the road, scoring 1 World Championship point which were very hard to come by in those days, and securing an all-important moral victory.

Having grown up being told stories of the many moral victories secured by Loonmotor by my beloved great-uncle Gijsbert, I am absolutely thrilled beyond words to be able to fulfill his dream and bring our family name back to the grid. Although the revolutionary ideas pioneered by the Loonmotor engine are a big part of what has caused our name to be relatively common knowledge amidst F1 fans, I sadly cannot confirm that we will be powered by a Loonmotor-developed engine in 2021. This is because the state of Formula 1 engine building has changed much over the past 63 years, and the amount of rules means our revolutionary ideas for Formula 1 engines are sadly illegal. As such, we are entering into a new partnership with the very successful Judd engines and will be working with them, hopefully for many years to come. Even though I am sure some of our fans will be disappointed by this news, you may rest assured that we will be collaborating with Judd to see as many of our revolutionary and ingenious engineering theories in the sport as possible.

We are still pursuing drivers for our team in 2021, and I am told by our talented design and engineering team, headed up by the visionary Pascal Vasselon, that our car, powered by the aforementioned Judd engines, should be a contender in the midfield this year, enabling us to claim many more moral victories. I am very excited to see the opportunities to showcase Dutch driving talent that this level of competitiveness will allow.

In the meantime, I am also happy to say that we are working to showcase our engineering ingenuity not only in Formula 1, but also on public roads, through the development of a brand-new Loonmotor L1 supercar - the first that can be bought and driven on your streets hopefully soon. I cannot provide a date on the release of this car but it is quite far along in the design state, and should be formally announced in the coming months.

+ Sauber (Bandon23) - €1,500,000
+ Toyota (Reject_Dom) - €18,000,000
+ Williams (Gertrand Bachot) - €-34,000,000

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Driver Market
Each team must employ at least two racing drivers and may employ one "third driver"; both real-life drivers and fictional drivers are permitted.

Any driver between the age of 16 and 46 at the start of the calendar year he is under contract is permitted to compete in Alternate Formula One - Hydrogen Era. Drivers above that age limit who are still under contract can continue to compete in Alternate Formula One - Hydrogen Era and may sign new contracts with the team they are currently under contract with. Drivers representing an AI are not subject to the age limit, but may only be hired after fulfilling at least one four-year contract as Simulator Tester.

Drivers can be signed at the start of the year as well as at any point during the season, except during a Grand Prix weekend. However, no driver can be hired whilst the position he is to be hired for is still occupied by another driver. Furthermore, each team is limited to 5 drivers unless force majeure forces a team to hire more drivers. Due to the method of execution, a third driver serving as Friday Tester cannot be hired after the seventh Grand Prix weekend of any Alternate Formula One season. There is no limit to the amounts of offers a team can make to free agents except the mental and time limits of the administration.

During the Driver Market at the start of the year, each team may offer contracts to any number of drivers for each of the three driver spots available to each team. These contracts must specify the role of the driver, the driver's wage, the contract duration and state additional clauses. [/b]Please note that teams may only offer a financial bonus as additional clause to a driver for WDC and/or WCC position and/or beating their teammate over the course of a full season.

Contract duration must either be stated in a number of years or a number of Grand Prix weekends. If the duration is stated in number of Grand Prix weekends and that number exceeds the number of the scheduled Grand Prix weekends (remaining, in case of a mid-season contract) in the season the contract was signed, the agreed wage must be paid again at the start of the following season(s). If the contract goes longer than a year, the agreed wage must be paid again at the start of each season the driver is under contract. Clauses specify additional conditions and privileges of the contract sides not covered in other parts of the contract. Teams may only offer a financial bonus to a driver for WDC and/or WCC position and/or beating their teammate over the course of a full season. Any bonus may not be staggered, but can only be paid out a lump sum for any given achievement. Furthermore, if the administration considers a clause unclear, the administration will read the clause in the most advantageous way for the driver.

For real-life drivers, a RNG will determine whether he signs the contract. The RNG values will be determined by the administration. Any RNG result is final, unless there is reasonable doubt about the quality of the RNG values. For fictional drivers, the respective DEC holder determines whether a contract offer is accepted. The RNG values will be determined by the administration based on the real-life persona if the real-life driver as well as his previous actions in Alternate Formula One - Hydrogen Era and Alternate Formula One - Manufacturer Era. Any RNG result is final, unless there is reasonable doubt about the quality of the RNG values.

The administration can modify contracts with fictional drivers if it considers the contract either unfairly advantageous to the team hiring the driver or egregiously inconsistent with the actions of the character in previous appearances.

Since we're now living in a post-canon world: I will not deal with unclear DEC situations. We have more than enough fictional and real drivers available that we'd need to re-assign DECs or something. If you can't find someone who's legitimised to authorise your signing of a fictional driver, pick someone else.

A driver can have one of two roles: racing driver or third driver. The two racing drivers are the drivers that actively compete during the Grand Prix weekend. The third driver has one out of three specific, predetermined jobs. A third driver may either be a Driver Coach or Simulator Driver. The job of the third driver must be determined at the start of the contract and may only be changed once the contract has concluded or has been terminated.

These are the possible jobs of third drivers and the requirements to serve in that job:

Driver Coach - improves the performance of any driver under the age of 25 (requirement: third driver must be 30 years or older at the start of the calendar year he is under contract

Simulator Tester - improves the performance of the driver when used as racing driver in the following seasons (requirement: third driver must be 25 years or younger at the start of the calendar year he is under contract

If a team releases a driver before his contract is over, he is entitled to compensation unless a clause justifies his release or states there is no compensation to be paid. The compensation is calculated according to this formula: (annual wage * number of years left on contract) * 1.5. If a team temporarily replaces a driver before his contract is over, he is entitled to the same compensation, unless a clause justifies his replacement. However, to return a driver to his role, no additional wage must be paid. During an unjustified temporary replacement, any other team may sign the driver to a contract if the original team is given €4,000,000 as compensation.

Regardless of any clauses, any real-life driver can be sacked without paying compensation if the driver has scored less than 10 % of the points of his teammate after eight Grand Prix weekends after the start of his contract if said teammate has scored at least 30 points. Any fictional driver can be sacked without paying compensation if the DEC owner has made in-character comments that can be interpreted as a desire to leave the team or excessive criticism of the team as defined by the administration. Driver contracts of bankrupt teams with real-life drivers can be terminated by the new user if he decides to keep the identity of the bankrupt team, driver contracts of bankrupt teams with fictional drivers can be terminated by both sides if the fictional driver is offered a contract by another team. If the user chooses to enter a new team, any existing contracts are void.

Any rules regarding temporary replacement do not apply when the driver is unavailable to compete due to injury, bans or force majeure. Any replacement driver signed to replace a driver that is unavailable to compete due to injury, bans or acts of god do not need to be paid any wage, insurance covering those costs. Should a mid-weekend replacement be required, any team may either use their third driver if he was predetermined to be either a Driver Coach or a Friday Tester or acquire the services of a third driver in either of those jobs from another team. Should no replacement be determined in time, the car of the driver to be replaced will not compete in the second Grand Prix of the weekend. Any driver that is to compete in Alternate Formula One and is below 18 years old at the start of the calendar year he is to compete in will be subject to a 10%-chance injury RNG to account for the massive physical strain at the conclusion of each Grand Prix weekend.

Active Alternate Formula One drivers can freely participate in other series as well. It is the responsibility of the involved users to avoid schedule conflicts. Any time paradoxes resulting as a consequence of double-dutying will be punished by having said driver banned from Alternate Formula One for 5 years and any other DECs (in case of fictional drivers) by said user being banned for the rest of the currently running season. In case of a real-life driver having an unresolved schedule conflict, the team-owning user in question will be excluded from the game, regardless of whether he owns the team in the other series causing the paradox unless the series owner of that series has caused the paradox by allowing the driver in question to sign in the series despite having known about the driver's Alternate Formula One commitment, running the real-life driver in a race he was not supposed to and refusing to rerun the race or modifying their schedule to deal with the time paradox.

Any driver, at the start of their career in Alternate Formula One - Hydrogen Era can pick freely any unused racing number from 2-99 to represent them for the entirety of their entire career. For the first season with this numbering system, the selection process is undertaken in the order of the previous World Driver's Championship standings. The number selection for real-life drivers is undertaken by the administration. Fictional drivers have their number selected by the team owner of the team they begin their career with.

Upgrade Plans

At the start of the year, each team hands in an upgrade plan to the administration, stating if, when and how they want to apply upgrades. Any upgrade takes three races from either building the chassis or the last upgrade to develop. The cost of any upgrade is only subtracted from the budget of the team applying it at the point where its effect becomes active. Any team may cancel the remaining upgrades on their upgrade plan at no cost during the seventh-to-last Grand Prix weekend of the season. Should a team use upgrades in a manner that improves their car performance to the point where it exceeds the performance levels possible with the game mechanics, the difference between the mathematical performance and the actual performance is paid out to the team at the start of the following season.

During the season, teams are permitted to have a negative budget as consequence of executing an upgrade plan. Drivers of teams that are in the minus during the season suffer a loss of performance.

After reading through that, you will now be asked to fill out the following until January 30, 6:00 p.m. CET:

He's bidding in his function as team owner of Calinetic. Whilst he left Precision in your hands, he did so in order to get a different team.

Bianchi will listen to all offers and then sign a contract depending on the RNG. Torrente is down to the decision of ataxia. You aren't spending money for nothing, the wage offered will influence the RNG.

Kinniuniverse has just informed me that he is going to withdraw from the game for the time being. Next on the waiting list is Dexter249. However, given as he was removed from his last team for failing to meet deadlines only one season ago, I have decided to not award him a works team in accordance with rule §2.3.a - as there are no users on the waiting list, I will run Precision myself for the 2021 season.

Please understand, Dexter249, that this is not a judgment on you nor an implication that you aren't welcome here. As soon as another team will become available, you will be permitted re-entry into Alt-F1.

In my position as Precision team owner, I hereby withdraw the team's agreement to the arrangement between Precision and Williams to cover Esteban Ocon's salary. Instead, Precision agrees to cover the wage of Robert Shwartzman up to €3,000,000 or an alternative fictional driver if Shwartzman rejects the contract.

These are Precision's driver offers for the 2021 season:

Team: Precision

Driver #1
Name: Diego Álvarez Torrente
DEC Holder: Ataxia
Wage: €6,000,000
Contract Length: 1 Year
Additional Clauses: Team option to extend contract by two years

Name: Esteban Ocon

Contract Length: 1 Year
Additional Clauses: Team option to extend contract by two years

Name: Pascal Wehrlein
Wage: €2,000,000
Contract Length: 1 year
Additional Clauses: Team option to extend contract by two years

Name: Gary Paffett
Wage: €2,000,000
Contract Length: 1 Year
Additional Clauses: Team option to extend contract by two years

Name: Kevin Magnussen
Wage: €2,000,000
Contract Length: 1 year
Additional Clauses: Team option to extend contract by two years.

--------------

Driver #2
Name: Daniel Ricciardo
Wage: €4,000,000
Contract Length: 1 year
Additional Clauses: Team option to extend contract by two years.

Live offer!
Name: Dean Stoneman
Wage: €4,000,000
Contract Length: 1 Year
Additional Clauses: Team option to extend contract by two years.

--------------

Driver 3, Live offer!
Name: Marvin Kirchhöfer
Wage: €2,000,000
Contract Length: 1 Year
Additional Clauses: Simulator driver

Alright, with all twelve teams having made their driver offers, I will proceed to run the RNG soon.

You can edit your offers and upgrade plans until tomorrow, 12:30 CET. The RNG itself will happen at 14:30 CET; anyone who joins us live in the Discord can adjust their bids as well. Furthermore, I also need all fictional drivers to have confirmed their interest or lack thereof in their offers by the respective DECs. Any fictional driver not confirmed by that period will need to be hired like any other mid-season change.

I work with your first post; so if you edit your bids, edit that post and that post alone.
