He's won in IFRC, dabbled in rallycross, was a test driver in Formula E and once dreamt that he won his class in an FIA Endurance Challenge race - but later realised the series never existed. Regardless, he's a safe pair of hands and is happy to drive literally anything.

If he brings money (literally anything) he can do Charlotte, Homestead (Roval + Oval), and the Glen (if JV isn't interested) for JTG's #85

Henry Paul will take his suitcase to Gatwick Airport on these dates and be delighted to get stuck in.

Just a small update - we're currently two-thirds of the way through the first round of driver RNG (only the scrubs left). It's just been a busy few days and I feel really exhausted, so it probably won't be until tomorrow that the scrubs get done

Sorry for the delay

DRIVER RNG RESULTS

Greetings all, I come bearing RNG results! The damn thing took three hours-long sittings, so I've not included the transcripts but have instead created a summary of exactly who y'all have hired so far:

23XI Racing
Denny Hamlin and Kevin Harvick both declined to join the new team. Instead, they secured the services of Daniel Ricciardo

Andretti Autosport
A bit of a weird one for Andretti, as Marco refused to drive for the team. They ended up signing the following drivers to each car:
25 - VACANT
26 - Rookie Oliver Askew signs on full time with I think zero stock car experience. Yikes...
27 - Pietro Fittipaldi will drive full time.
28 - Dale Earnhardt Jr signed on for Richmond and AJ Allmendinger for everything else

Beard Motorsports
Noah Gragson signed on for a four-round schedule.

Chip Ganassi Racing
They did miss out on a couple of their targets, but in the end Ganassi ended up with:
1 - Kurt Busch stays on with his Monster Energy sponsorship.
42 - Ross Chastain gets the old Larson seat.
84 - Kevin Magnussen for three rounds, including both road courses.

Front Row Motorsports
After a pretty successful RNG, Front Row ended up with:
34 - Michael McDowell and his Love's sponsorship.
38 - Brett Moffitt

Gaunt Brothers Racing
Gaunt Brothers had a bit of a traumatic time filling their full-time seat, but they got there in the end...
40 - Travis Crabtree for three rounds (including both road courses)
96 - Corey LaJoie could be the infinite improbability signing of the season.

Germain Racing
The best RNG of the entire grid was enjoyed by Germain Racing. This is how you put together a profitable revolving door:
  • Ruben Garcia (3 rounds)
  • Jorge Goeters (5 rounds)
  • Gary Klutt (3 rounds)
  • German Quiroga (5 rounds)
  • Hermie Sadler (4 rounds)
  • Austin Hill (4 rounds)
  • Natalie Decker (6 rounds)

Go Fas Racing
Go Fas had a slightly troubled off-season, missing out on their first two preferences for the 32. Despite this, they managed to attract an exceedingly solid driver in Erik Jones.
32 - Erik Jones

Hattori Racing Enterprises
Hattori took the option of having one seat with a regular driver throughout (that being former F1 race winner Jacques Villeneuve) and one that was more of a revolving door.
61 - Jacques Villeneuve
81 - Takuma Sato, Blake Jones, Jennifer Jo Cobb, Ruben Garcia, Gary Klutt, Austin Hill
They still have nine rounds to fill in the 81 car

Hendrick Motorsports
One of the biggest teams in NASCAR, Hendrick as always chased the best drivers in the sport.
9 - Chase Elliott
24 - William Byron
48 - Kyle Larson
88 - Alex Bowman

Joe Gibbs Racing
Joe Gibbs tried to adopt a similar strategy, but they ran into some severe difficulties.
11 - Denny Hamlin
18 - Kyle Busch
19 - Martin Truex Jr
20 - VACANT

JTG-Daugherty Racing
The team I keep mis-spelling has tried to have its cake and eat it too by running a third car as a rent-a-drive alongside their regular two.
37 - Ricky Stenhouse Jr
47 - Trevor Bayne
85 - Henry Paul, Blake Jones, Julia Landauer, Stanton Barrett, Natalie Decker, Gary Klutt, Hermie Sadler, Scott Heckert
They still have six rounds to fill in the 85 car

Kaulig Racing
Kaulig marked a pleasant departure from revolving doors:
16 - Brandon Jones

Leavine Family Racing
A good driver for a reasonable price, exactly what Leavine were looking for:
95 - Christopher Bell

Live Fast Motorsports
Pretty much just a simple owner-driver job for BJ McLeod after Scott Heckert turned down the road courses.
78 - BJ McLeod

MBM Motorsports
An entirely unremarkable MBM Motorsports lineup for 2021; first choices all round.
49 - Garrett Smithley (Daytona 500)
66 - Timmy Hill

NY Racing Team
NY Racing Team aren't exactly burning the candle at both ends, but they are burning many many hundred-dollar bills that don't belong to them.
44 - James James Davies
82 - Justin Allgaier

Premium Motorsports
No changes here.
15 - Brennan Poole

Richard Childress Racing
Richard Childress racing expanded from two cars to three this year, and there's no prizes for guessing who filled two of Grandpappy's cars.
3 - Austin Dillon
8 - Tyler Reddick
29 - Ty Dillon

Richard Petty Motorsport
No changes for Mr The King after his disappointing time trying to get hold of a Chevrolet for this season.
43 - Bubba Wallace

Rick Ware Racing
Ohhhhh boy.
51 - Jeffrey Earnhardt, Hailie Deegan
52 - Garrett Smithley, Jennifer Jo Cobb, Natalie Decker, Ruben Garcia, Hermie Sadler
53 - Blake Jones, Bayley Currey, Austin Hill, Antonio Perez
54 - VACANT
Rick Ware still have 40 rounds to fill, including all 30 for the 54

Roush Fenway Racing
Roush Fenway Racing just secured one of NASCAR's very best drivers in the six car:
6 - Kevin Harvick
17 - Chris Buescher

Spire Motorsports
I'm personally really happy with my signings here; this couldn't have gone much better.
74 - Greg Biffle (Daytona 500)
77 - Justin Haley

StarCom Racing
Paint.
00 - Quin Houff

Stewart-Haas Racing
Some upheaval occurred here - after the team lost its best drivers to Roush and retirement, the backup options were all very... Gene Haas.
4 - Parker Klingerman
10 - Cole Custer
14 - Sheldon Creed
41 - Aric Almirola

Team Keller Racing
A canon scrub for a team that's only ever going to contest one event.
90 - Robbie Ray Knox (Southern 500)

Team Penske
Given the challenge of switching manufacturer, Penske will be glad to keep their big name drivers under one roof.
2 - Brad Keselowski
12 - Ryan Blaney
22 - Joey Logano
33 - Nicolas Steele (Daytona 500)

Tommy Baldwin Racing
I say revolving, you say door. Revolving! ...
7 - Stanton Barrett, Josh Bilicki, Joey Gase, Reed Sorenson, JJ Yeley, Garrett Smithley, Robbie Ray Knox

Trackhouse Racing
99 - Daniel Suarez

Wood Brothers Racing
Let's hope that either the rumours their current driver is on his way out at the end of the year are unfounded, or that he finds a top notch drive for next year.
21 - Matt DiBenedetto

Honestly, I'm shocked at how few incomplete rosters there are. Before we move onto sponsors, I would like:
  • Andretti to fill the number 25.
  • Hattori to find nine more rounds of scrubs.
  • Joe Gibbs Racing to fill the number 20.
  • JTG-Daugherty to find six more rounds of scrubs.
  • Rick Ware Racing to find forty more rounds of scrubs.

Additionally, if Hattori and JTG could let me know which rounds their cars will be in the hands of which drivers, that would be hugely appreciated. Thank you all for your patience the last week or so!

Sorry, but I have decided to hand over control of 23XI Racing. It's free for anyone who wants it.
