I'm being rather ambitious here considering AAR only scored 5pts in RL but we do have much better drivers (both of which scored nearly 50pts on their own in RL 1998), and a much better engine so it's entirely possible this may work

Just want to let everyone know that the sponsor goal deadline is closed. So the remaining 3 teams (Bettenhausen, Penske and Arciero-Wells) who didn't submit their goals in time have been manually assigned sponsors (see the orange on the spreadsheets.

The results from the Homestead race will come in this post later.

If you are interested in representing one of the upgrade companies, then could you express your interest on a post in the forum, then I'll run an RNG to decide who's who. The 1st upgrade window closes when the race at Motegi is up. The upgrade interest closes at 12:00 GMT on Thursday 15th February.

Let's Just Say that I'm going to kick Vincenzo out until he becomes somewhat competent, We Will offer JJ Lehto a $600K Seat in the Second car until next year.

Yeah, even though the car is terrible, he just embarrased himself. And I can confirm that JJ Lehto will race for Team KOOL Green for the rest of the season.

3rd post in a row, but here are the official driver ratings from Homestead/Miami:

1) Jimmy Vasser - 5/10 - Outqualified by Zanardi and only won because Moore, Zanardi and Rahal had car failures
2) Robby Gordon - 8/10 - Flawless performance from him to give Tasman a much-needed podium
3) Michel Jourdain Jr - 7/10 - Showed what Payton/Coyne are capable of…
4) Al Unser Jr - 8/10 - Easily had the measure of Tracy, drove cleanly to score some good points for Captain Penske’s team
5) Ádrián Fernández - 7/10 - gave Patrick something to take away from the weekend
6) Tony Kanaan - 11/10 - What a drive, was outpacing Penskes and Rahals and managed to score 8 valuable points in the slowest car on the grid
7) Patrick Carpentier - 6/10 - The KOOL Green is a shitbox, was lucky to score points
8) Gualter Salles - 6/10 - Was lucky to have even finished the race, Davis will need the points
9†) Ricardo Zonta - 9/10 - Good debut for Bettenhausen, could’ve scored more if he didn’t retire
10†) Juan Pablo Montoya - 4/10 - Great performance in qualifying to take pole, fell back in the race and his late retirement topped off his race
11) Eliseo Salazar - 6/10 - Was running fairly high in the poor PacWest until a transmission failure paid an end to his hopes of scoring good points
12) Hiro Matsushita - 3/10 - Anonymous all race
Ret) Bobby Rahal - 9/10 - Lead the 2nd half of the race until his untimely transmission failure…
Ret) Alex Zanardi - 8/10 - Would’ve likely beat Jimmy Vasser had his car survived
Ret) Kenny Bräck - 2/10 - Has the best chassis and engine and yet falls behind a goddamn Eagle
Ret) Paul Tracy - -10000000/10 - What a shitfest. Qualifies 14 places behind his teammate, struggled against an Eagle and finally attempted to murder Gualter Salles, which ended in him hitting the outside wall and flying across the track with an expensive repair bill for the Captain
Ret) Greg Moore - 9/10 - Dominated the race until his retirement
Ret) P.J. Jones - 3/10 - Was lucky to have a body in one piece after Turn 1, but was hopeless compared to his teammate
Ret) Scott Goodyear - 3/10 - Poor car + average driving = not good result

I suggest giving in some more time, like a day more or 2, since only 1 day for us to do the upgrades is rather too tight.

Also, fyi, CART used to award points to non-finishers as well, so Salazar and King Hero should get some points for 11th and 12th

Instead of that, the upgrades will be assigned to a team per company. So the list is as follows:
