Champion elimination alternative championship

It has been felt that it's boring that same drivers are winning over and over. Therefore the decision is that all previous world champions have been removed from the results. This is being done from the beginning. 1950 season is as usual but from 1951 season Giuseppe Farina is removed.

Early seasons had also two other changes
- Data on fastest laps was mostly not complete, so no point is awarded.
- In shared drivers, if one driver is former champion and other not, non-champion gets full points for that position.
- Dropped scores result as it was in that season.

So here we go, 1951 season!

Juan Manuel Fangio 28 points (3 wins, 2 2nds)
Alberto Ascari 28 points (3 wins)
Jose Froilan Gonzalez 24 points (1 win)
Luigi Villoresi 17 points (1 2nd)
Piero Taruffi 10 points (1 2nd)
Lee Wallard 8 points (1 win)
Mike Nazaruk 6 points (1 2nd)
Emmanuel de Graffenried 5 points (1 4th)
Reg Parnell 5 points (1 4th)
Luigi Fagioli 4 points (1 win)
Louis Rosier 4 points (1 3rd)
Consalvo Sanesi 4 points (1 3rd)
Yves Giraud-Cabantous 3 points (1 4th)
Andy Linden 3 points (1 4th)
Jack McGrath 2 points (1 3rd)
Manny Ayulo 2 points (1 3rd)
Louis Chiron 2 points (1 5th)
Andre Pilette 2 points (1 5th)
Bobby Ball 2 points (1 5th)

The end result was quite confusing. Only four best result count and without those dropped scores, Ascari would have won. In the races that counted, he had three wins agains two of Fangio. But, Fangio had one shared one with Fagioli so he had three in total. With more 2nd places, he won the title.

I've done most of these actually, just going to reveal one or two every weekday from now on.

1952 season next, without Farina again. Fangio didn't drive in that season anyway due to injury.

Alberto Ascari 32 points (6 wins)
Piero Taruffi 24 points (1 win, 2 2nds, 1 3rd)

Jose Froilan Gonzalez 6 points (1 2nd)
Jim Rathmann 6 points (1 2nd)
Maurice Trintignant 5 points (1 4th)

Alan Brown 4 points (2 5ths)
Ken Wharton 3 points (1 4th)

Dennis Poore 3 points (1 4th)

Art Cross 2 points (1 5th)
Peter Collins 2 points (1 5th)
Eric Thompson 2 points (1 5th)
Roger Laurent 2 points (1 5th)
Andre Simon 2 points (1 5th)

1953 next, this time without Farina, Fangio and Ascari who incidentally were top three drivers of the year!

When you're done with this, I'd love to see the results of this backward. In other words, you forfeit your former championships to keep your current one.

So it was Hawthorn (actually 4th) who won the title. It was close and Hawthorn did just what was needed in the final round - finish 2nd behind Villoresi.

By the way, the whole had to drop a place thing also happened in 1988, where Prost scored more points than Senna, but to drop some, leaving Senna the win.

I'm really interested in the 2000s, when Schumacher dominated. He's probably going to get his title in 1994 or 1995, leaving five or six orphaned titles.

1969
Jean-Pierre Beltoise 64 (5 wins, 3 2nd, 3 3rd)
Jo Siffert 43 (3 wins, 1 2nd, 1 3rd)
Piers Courage 34 (3 wins, 1 2nd)
Vic Elford 18 (2 2nd)
Pedro Rodriguez 14 (1 2nd, 2 3rd)
Jackie Oliver 10 (1 2nd, 1 3rd)
Johnny Servoz-Gavin 9 (1 2nd)
Silvio Moser 8 (2 3rd)
Chris Amon 6 (1 2nd)
Pete Lovely 6 (1 3rd)
Richard Attwood 4 (1 3rd)
Sam Tingle 3 (1 4th)
John Miles 2 (1 5th)

Again, the season where very little cars finished throughout. Only once top six placings were all awarded, and on top of all, at Spain only Jean-Pierre Beltoise finished the race!

Henri Pescarolo 1 (1 6th)

Maximum points for the season = 90. And no one is getting even half of that. Amon's victory happened already in the first race, and there were some other quite obscure winners in this season. I also found Beltoise's results so nice that had to mention them all.

WHO THE HELL IS BRIAN REDMAN?!?
