Crap, I completely forgot it wasn't a two-week gap...

So thank you Ataxia for reminding me :? and welcome to Silverstone for the 2017 British Grand Prix, at Silverstone, also known as home of the overtake, yadda yadda yadda. Get your predictions in, folks!

Just FYI, the Did Not Qualify option is being changed to a Did Not Start option, meaning that there's actually a possibility of scoring that forty-first point, and it's not just an honourary thing. So anyone who predicted before me who predicted DNQ, I will just count as a DNS.

1. Lewis Hamilton
2. Valtteri Bottas

FMJ deserves a ten point bonus for this reference. If you don't get the reference I suggest ten points should be deducted.

So round 10 of the predicament predictions championship is over, and that puts us at the halfway point of the season. But first, here are the results of the British Grand Prix:

1. Ugncreativeusergname 24
2. Dj_bereta 22
- pi314159 22

4. Enforcer 21
- mario 21
6. Rob Dylan 20
- CoopsII 20
8. dr-baker 19
- RAK 19
- CarloSpace 19
11. This Could Be You 18
- Ataxia 18
13. Tommykl 16
14. Aislabie 14
15. peteroli34 13

Our tenth different winner in ten different races is Ugncreativeusergname! They take the highest points score of someone who didn't use double points. With all this inconsistency, there is literally no other championship in 2017 so hotly anticipated as the Predicament Predictions one! Mario, our championship leader since the Spanish Grand Prix, takes home some serious points to bolster his placing in the championship. After Silverstone, here are the championship standings:

1. Mario 167
2. Tommykl 155
3. Aislabie 143

4. CarloSpace 141
5. This Could Be You 140
6. RAK 134
7. CoopsII 133
8. dr-baker 132
9. Enforcer 131
10. UgncreativeUsergname 129
11. Rob Dylan 122
12. Dj_bereta 121
13. AdrianBelmonte_ 103
14. pi314159 93
15. Ataxia 89
16. Aguvazk 86
17. Watka 82
18. Yannicksamlad 74
19. peteroli34 70
20. Normal32 47
21. takagi_for_the_win 37
22. Miguel98 35
23. Bleu 29
24. Simtek 28
25. mash 28
26. TheFlyingCaterham 28
27. Pasta_Maldonado 26
28. Andrew 16
29. RedEyes504 16
30. FullMetalJack 15
31. Dexter249 14
32. Dartanian 12
- Reject_Dom 12
34. DemocalypseNow 11
- IceG 11
36. golic_2004 7
37. Gonzalez 6

And so, whilst Mario appears to be holding onto his championship lead for the time being, the fight amongst the regulars is as fiery as ever! Don't forget, grand prizes await the top three in the championship this year - not yet finalised, but definitely grand. See you at the next round in Hungary.
