According to a Japanese Newspaper Honda was sold to Brawn for 1 Pound.
Why did Jermey by the car for 1 pound when he could have got an F1 team for the same amount?

I think Honda said prior to it's purchasing by Brawn that they would consider "any offer" for the team.

Although the vast amount of money required to run the team and the cars sort of make the purchasing of the team negligible.

They probably could have at least gotten a carton of Lucky Strikes for their trouble.
