1st. Ricciardo. Powered through the grid after his penalty.

2nd. Stroll. Traded on his good qualifying ultimately, but a strong weekend.

1. Esteban Ocon: Great job all weekend, took the maximum result given his car.
2. (shared, 3 points for each) Daniel Ricciardo: Brilliant recovery drive, too bad he missed out on the podium.
Lance Stroll: Dropped back in the race but still a solid drive, his qualifying was really amazing for a rookie.

IIDoTR:
1. Ocon: Drove faultlessly to achieve the best result possible for a non "Big Three" car
2. Stroll: Great qualifying and some decent wheel-to-wheel racing gave him some deserved points which no one can account to attrition.
HM:
Williams: Back to respectability after a shocking Spa, plus they've finally sorted the wet-weather dearth in performance, even if they're not sure why!
Vandoorne: Good qualifying before the penalties, but he drove well and looked on course for points until his McHonda gave up.
Ricciardo: another stealthy recovery drive, helped by some brilliant overtakes.
Verstappen: went from last to eighth to last again back to tenth. Now that's grasping victory from the jaws of defeat.

Ocon & Stroll both looked the part for possibly the first time.

Ricciardo gets a mention, but we shouldn't be surprised at a recovery drive from possibly the best overtaker in the pack.

Are you suggesting that I am a baker and therefore I put a bun in the oven? :o ;)

Seriously, I missed seeing that. Just how big is she now?

1. Ricciardo - please give him a grid penalty every race so he can storm through the pack
2. Stroll - mainly for his qualifying, but you can't fault his racing either. Shame Williams let him down on his pit stop, they are usually so good

1. Ricciardo absolutely went through the field for another great finish

2. Tie between Ocon and Stroll: Both stellar qualifying positions and performed admirably to prove that both belong in F1.

IIDOTR results from the home of the overtake are in!

1. Daniel Ricciardo 94
2. Lance Stroll 45

3. Esteban Ocon 34
4. Williams 16
5. Antonio Fuoco 13
6. Max Verstappen 11
7. Felipe Massa 6
- Alexander Rossi 6
- Marcos Siebert 6
- Daniil Kvyat 6
11. Luca Ghiotto 3

All the top three received nominations for similar reasons. Daniel Ricciardo won with his great recovery drive from near the back to fighting for the podium again. Esteban Ocon and Lance Stroll both impressed the audience with good qualifying positions followed up by good drives in the race.
