Democratic voting for ROTR was a mistake. All the charm of classic F1 Rejects and the choices by our former overlords has been replaced with Autosport-esque seriousness. Next year, we should just have someone respected who still has a sense of humour outright name the Reject of the Race. I suggest kevinbotz.

Yeah, I'm inclined to agree.

I'm not surprised about anything.

I'd also add that whenever someone does comes up with a creative suggestion for ROTR, there's never more than one or two other people that vote for the same thing, and it just gets drowned out by the usual suspects.

Don't look at me, I just count the scores

How about rule change?
The member who starts ROTR thread may overwrite the democratic voting by obscure nomination which has received at least one 1st place vote.
Re: List of ROTRs and IIDOTRs - 2017
As the score-counter-upper-person, all I do is count up the scores, with a maximum of 10 points per person on one thing (when you say all points to blah-blah-blah I still only give 10 points - it's the rules damn it). I don't have any special rulings on it.
We could always have a set of stewards overseeing things and I agree with the idea of a points cap on certain things.
One way to operate would just to put all the suggestions that got at least (say) 10% of the vote, and get Biscione or someone else to decide. In terms of Predicament Predictions, he barely participates in it, so couldn't rig the system or anything like that. Unless someone else wants to be an impartial reject steward? Any volunteers?

I'd be up for that, though I feel as if I'm not really senior enough round here to do it

I'm in the same boat here as well. I wouldn't mind doing it but I think it should be done by someone more established in the community here.
