Welcome, my friends, to the 2018 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix Predicament Predictions :!: :!: :!:

This week's candidates for Minor League Premiership are: Leclerc; Hartley; Gasly; Sirotkin. And don't forget that from this race onwards, you can use your double points for one race only. Make it a good one if you do!

For this week I'll be using double points.

2. Kimi Raikkonen
3. Daniel Ricciardo
4. Max Verstappen
5. Kevin Magnussen
6. Fernando Alonso
7. Romain Grosjean

Infinite Improbability Drive of the Race: Valtteri Bottas
Deadbeat Teammate of the Race: Lewis Hamilton
Minor League Premiership: Sergey Sirotkin
Did not Start: Pierre Gasly

Reason: Original title unnecessarily provocative; this forum is not the place for flippant commentary on sensitive political issues.

Can people join in after the season started? (Assuming they are happy to miss out on any points from races they have not partaken in)

Of course, you can submit as often or as little as you like throughout the season. Of course, the more you submit, the more chance you have of prizes

Two rounds up, and we already have a shake-up of the grid after Bahrain!

Results:
1. RAK 20
2. Enforcer 14
- Klon 14
**
4. Aislabie 12*
- Aguvazk 12
6. Rob Dylan 10
- tommykl 10
8. Gertrand Bachot 8
- This Could Be You 8***
10. CarloSpace 7
- dr-baker 7
- Bleu 7
13. Wizzie 6
- mario 6
15. AdrianBelmonte_ 5
- Ugncreativeusergname 5
- Collieafc 5
*half-points for the vague pole position thing
**no points for pole position as he submitted late
***funniest alternative race title

RAK takes his first win of the season, while last week's winner Klon takes home a respectable points haul, but not enough to keep him in the lead of the championship. The race itself had lots of front-runners not making the finish line, and lots of contenders were beaten by the unpredictability of everything - especially myself, who wasted a double points use to only scrounge 10 points! Without further ado, here are the standings for the season so far.

Standings:
1. RAK 32
2. Klon 31
3. Aguvazk 28

4. Gertrand Bachot 24
5. Enforcer 24
6. Aislabie 24
7. Bleu 22
8. tommykl 22
9. Rob Dylan 20
10. Wizzie 19
= mario 19
12. dr-baker 19
13. This Could Be You 19
14. AdrianBelmonte_ 17
15. CarloSpace 17
16. Ugncreativeusergname 16
17. Dexter249 12.5
18. mash 12
19. yannicksamlad 11
20. IceG 8
21. Collieafc 5
