Before I post up these results tomorrow, I just want to warn you in advance:

With France receiving the Reject of the Race award, I have decided to dish out points to the candidates in bold on the ROTR thread, them being Grosjean, Gasly, Ocon, Sainz's Renault, or mis-management at Paul Ricard. If you got one of these five things you'll get 0.6 points (a fifth of the available three points for France).

I'm awarding This Could Be You half points for his ludicrously late predictions, and also voiding his qualifying prediction for predicting after qualifying. I'll try to set this as a benchmark in future---posting between FP3 and Qualifying will get your qualifying prediction voided, and any predicting after that will gain you half points.

So in one of the highest scoring wins of the season, Takagi_for_the_win has won his first race of the season in France with a scarily close prediction for his top ten. Among the leading drivers the results remain very similar, with dr-baker and mario earning the exact same score, with RAK only 0.4 points ahead of them. So at the front little has changed, whilst This Could Be You has been penalised by the F.I.P. for a late prediction. Somehow I still finished behind him and everybody else anyway.

As mentioned in my previous post, I have executed Order 4 and dished out points to the various aspects of France that were mentioned in folks' Reject of the Race suggestions. I consulted nobody on this plan and believe it to be a total and absolute success.

Results
1. takagi_for_the_win 21
2. Enforcer 17
3. Klon 16

4. You-Gee-Eee-Day 15

- Aguvazk 9
17. This Could Be You 8.8*
18. Rob Dylan 8
*half-points for being mad late with his predictions
**points for the funniest alternative race title

And here's what it does to the standings after 8 rounds. As said previously, not much changed at the front, but some of the contestants further down scored highly to bring them closer to the leading pack.

Standings
1. dr-baker 114.6
2. mario 110.6
3. RAK 110
