2018 Mexican Grand Prix - Predicament Predictions!

It is the land of Mexican hats, and dances associated with them - it's the Mexican Grand Prix, Predicament Predictions edition! Forgot about the double-header again, so this is a little late in coming. Without further ado, here's everything you need for this exciting weekend. Whilst Hamilton seems destined to win the championship, the Predicament Predictions championship is all but sewn up.

There's always a point for the funniest alternative race title you guys can come up with. The candidates for Minor League Premiership are the usual: Leclerc; Gasly; Hartley; Sirotkin. And if you haven't used them yet, you're always welcome to activate double points for one round only.

With two rounds to go, Aguvazk uses their double points to perfection and win by a mile! In Mexico we had a real tightening of the front-runners, with once again a shifting around of positions between around 2nd and 7th in the championship. But regardless of all these changes, the points differences between those positions are negligible. It was another relative low-pointer for RAK, meaning that new runner-up tommykl has reduced the lead to 23.5 points with two races to go. It's a lead that seems unassailable, but crazy stuff can still happen.

The number of folks who can still mathematically win is closing up. I'm at the lowest point possible, so there's still time for me to rig the results to have myself as supreme ruler. But one more good round could do it for RAK. Last year mario won the championship with a 32-point lead (the maximum points haul without double points is 41), and while he hovers behind the leader with about that same total, it does seem as if a miracle is needed, or indeed a crazy predicament, to finalise this championship once and for all!
