2018 Autosport Driver Ratings discussion

Post by Rob Dylan »

So the first article of Autosport's Top 50 drivers are out. Former reject Gabriele Tarquini has been placed 50th :D whilst the other F1 driver ratings are:

- Grosjean in 49th - I see their reasoning, but as a mere armchair expert I think Romain was one of the weakest drivers this season, and got outshone by most of his peers in the mid-field.
- Magnussen in 48th - At least he's ahead of his teammate. A strong season in my opinion, maybe his best since being in F1.

Interestingly Mick Schumacher is in 45th, which whilst it might seem low, is probably fair as his season was incredibly up and down. He won the championship, but it remains to be seen how consistent his pace will be next year.

And double-Reject of the Year champion Jenson Button got 47th!

Felipe Nasr - the least forgettable F1 driver!
