Infinite Improbability Drive of the Race - Belgium
Infinite Improbability Drive of the Race - Belgium
1. The motorsport community. The way everyone has pulled together after the tragic events of yesterday has been inspiring and cathartic. A fitting tribute to Anthoine.
2. Charles Leclerc. Goddamn has there ever been a more fitting race winner.

Honorable mention for Kvyat, because I have no clue on how he finished 8th.

Lando Norris did an amazing job until a car failure robbed him of a fifth place... Honorable mentions to Leclerc and Albon.

Lando Norris, for that drive.
HM: Vettel managed to race Hamilton for multiple laps without hitting anything.

1. The Motorsport Community -- Damn I love you all. Everyone came together in the wake of tragedy. Y'alls are beautiful
2. Lando Norris -- Actually gained places off the start and should've gotten fifth, easily.

1) The Motorsport Community. A great show of solidarity this weekend, that's all I'll say on it.
2) Lando Norris. That 5th place was his up until the final lap when his PU gave up.
Honourable Mentions:
Alexander Albon/Pierre Gasly (Both driving their hearts out to prove to their bosses that they are fit for the 2020 Red Bull seat. Note to Albon for his last lap pass in the grass
Charles Leclerc (First win after 2 near-wins. A sentimental weekend for it to fall on, but he finally closed the page)

Lando Norris: On his way to being best of the B-league when his car decided to stop one lap short.
Alexander Albon: A bit helped by the misfortune of others, but immediatedly got the best possible result when given the chance in the A-team.
Charles Leclerc: Ferrari finally realised that Vettel is past it. I'm expecting to hear that national anthem a lot more in the future.
HM to Pierre Gasly: Finally woke up and started performing.

Alex Albon - realized this was his moment and stood and delivered. Makes one wonder how many points RBR could currently have in the WCC if only they made the move sooner. And holding the DRS open on the grass last lap? Holy shite. Well done lad.

1. Charles Leclerc - there could never be a feel-good result, but this is definitely a feel-less-bad one
2. Pierre Gasly - right after he's dropped he has a good race

I remember the UK commentators commenting that they were a great pair of anthems to hear together.

Re: Infinite Improbability Drive of the Race - Belgium
His car failed whilst in a fantastic fifth place, on basically the last lap of the Belgian Grand Prix, but regardless he was this forum's driver of the day™, and wins the Infinite Improbability Drive of the Race award. I am of course talking about Lando Norris! He was about two minutes from unrejectifying himself, and he proved himself worthy of that possibility.
