Adrian Campos is at it again

Post by pi314159 »

You have been, just like me, missing HRT for the past seven years? There's hope. Adrian Campos is planning to enter F1 in 2021 in cooperation with driver management firm MIM Group.

The plans look rather advanced already, with Super Aguri designer Peter McCool as technical director and Ben Wood as head aerodynamicist involved, and Pascal Wehrlein and Alex Palou named as potential drivers.

Let's hope this reject superteam consisting of HRT's founder, Manor's driver and Super Aguri's technical staff actually materializes.

I never received my HRT fan card, so maybe this team can make up for it. Also, any team that is trying to prevent Pascal Wehrlein's humongous talent from being wasted by a bunch of idiots in Formula E immediately enjoys my support.

If they make the 2021 grid I'll freeze my own urine into a popsicle and eat it.

Jamie and Enoch in their podcast would have called this "the BIG news in Formula 1" for sure. :pantano:
They used to love new teams at F1Rejects.
"I don't think we should be used to finance (the manufacturers') R&D because they will produce that engine anyway" said Monisha Kaltenborn.
"You will never see a Mercedes using a Ferrari engine or the other way round."

Absolutely!

I think this is great news . Adrian dares to dream ! Drivers have longer careers because they start younger, and together with empty spaces on the grid from having just 10 teams, this all really limits the opportunities for decent drivers to get an F1 chance.
More teams = more racing and more fun .
I started supporting Emmo in 1976 (3 points )....missed 75, 74, 73, 72...
