Round 5 incoming, and it's at Monaco. Will it be a predictable and easy round this time, or will shenanigans shape things up and give us a crazy result (and some low points for you lot!)? Can Aislabie hold their excellent lead they got from Spain, or was it only a flash in the pan. The only way to find out is through MORE PREDICTING! Remember that the cut-off is at the end of FP3, and Alexander Albon no longer drives for Red Bull this year ;)

Here is your blank slate to predict with:

1.
2.
3.
4.
5.
6.

How Far Back:

There is always a point for the funniest race title you can come up with. The Minor League Premiership for this round contains Nikita Mazepin, Mick Schumacher, Yuki Tsunoda. You can also use double points at any time you like :)

Because I am very intelligent, I am going to make the best predictions ever:

1. Sergio Pérez
2. Charles Leclerc
3. Lewis Hamilton
4. Valtteri Bottas
5. Daniel Ricciardo
6. Esteban Ocon
7. Fernando Alonso
8. Pierre Gasly
9. Lando Norris
10. Nicholas Latifi

Fastest lap: Lewis Hamilton
First retirement: Max Verstappen
Reject of the Race: Max Verstappen
Infinite Improbability Drive of the Race: Nicholas Latifi
Deadbeat Teammate of the Race: Max Verstappen
Minor League Premiership: Mick Schumacher

Get your predictions in by the end of FP3, and good luck to everyone

Had a busy week so the results for this are a little late. But here we are back with the results and standings for Monaco. Some things to note: almost nobody guessed that Vettel would be in the points - never mind 5th! Same for Stroll, as Aston Martin got severely underrated for this race. Otherwise much of the points were made in guessing the lower half of the top ten, rather than in the usual points haul of guessing the podium.

Let's look at the results from Monaco

Results

*As I make these rules up as I go along, tBone, who said Hamilton, got 1 point as he is a PART of the Mercedes (minus Bottas) ROTR award. Frogfoot9013 said Verstappen AND Hamilton, so I’ll have to split that in two as a half point, which in double points is a point.
**used double points
***dr-baker regains his point out of humorous sympathy :P

So the double points runners win, but as you can see the actual haul overall was very small. If you consider that the average points haul in Spain was 20, the average haul here at Monaco was 10. Aerond takes what I believe to be their debut win, whilst You-Gee-Eee-Day came close to scoring their own debut win. It was a day for the midfielders to shine on Predicament Predictions at Monaco, but what does it mean for the championship?

Standings

So Aislabie keeps their lead. Not too big a surprise really, as their finish at Monaco remains a record haul. The only noticeable change is that mario subtly moves into 3rd with a decent points finish. RAK too has crept up on the leader by five points, and is hoping that after Azerbaijan they can take the championship lead and a third Predicament Predictions trophy.

How will they do at Baku? Who knows, that race turned out to be a little crazy in itself! I'll count up those scores for you once the ROTR/IIDOTR results are out! Until then, see you in Azerbaijan
