1. George Russell. We'll be talking about his Q3 lap for years to come. Unrejectification at long last.

2. Nikita Mazepin. Booked his place in the F1 record books with fastest lap!

The Fans - sitting over four hours in the shitty weather for this nonsense is nothing short of determined.

1- Mazepin: Fastest lap on a Haas, not bad.

2- Russell: Okay, there was no race to speak of, but he did deserve his podium because of his heroics on Saturday. That was amazing.

1. The fans for sticking around for four hours in the rain
2. Russell for his podium secured by a stunning lap that would have been pole if he'd been able to take the last corner a bit faster.

HM: Mazepin getting a FLAP without getting in a flap.

The marshalls for their game of petanque, the most competitive part of the afternoon.

George Russell for obvious reasons. I really was expecting his race to go the same way as Hulkenberg in the 2010 Brazilian GP.

Alan van der Merwe (spelling?) for completing the furthest distance.

1) The Marshal who decided to start the game of boules in the gravel trap - the only actual sport we got to see all afternoon, and more inspired thinking than anyone involved with F1 today.

2) Those water dispersing trucks - surprisingly good turning circles for such big machines. Impressive.

1. George Russell: Amazing qualifying. After all the bad luck, he deserved a lucky break regardless of the circumstances.
2. Nikita Mazepin: Fastest lap in the slowest car, I guess that counts for something.

Why are we having IIDOTR after that, even as a joke?

The crowd for not starting a riot.

The fans should win this hands down. Should be refunded and given the freedom of Belgium for putting up with that

George Russell is an obvious choice. Yes it’s a farcical way for him to get it but he still had to do the lap yesterday

Nikita Mazepin who’ll take home the fastest lap. Technically Something for him to rub in our faces for once

Russell for qualifying. Nothing else to say really!

1. George Russell - For one of the best wet-weather qualifying performances of all time, and earning nine points for his troubles. Curse officially broken.

2. Ferrari - For managing to convert 11th and 13th on the grid into a double-points finish in what looks like it will go down as a one-lap race, held entirely behind the safety car. Absolutely stellar Ferrari strategy to pull that off.

The fans, whom I hope demand for Liberty to give them their money back. Personally I think the real fallout will occur when all those dedicated international F1 fans finally get home, wake up tomorrow morning and start emailing complaints about what they get in compensation for such a pointless waste of time. They paid for it, after all.

If Liberty/the organisers don't automatically refund the fans I at least hope some of those 75,000 people kick up a stink about this. The last thing we want is some greedy rich people wasting everyone else's hard-earned money that was duly spent on the sport they love. Contracts and clauses are all well and good - "it says so on their ticket" - sure, but strictly abiding by that rule flies in the face of everything that is moral and sensible and (for Liberty perhaps most importantly) good PR.

1) George Russell: Denied his chance to make the most of his exceptional Saturday lap in a conventional race, he'll still take home the silverware in what is officially his first podium - and in a backmarker Williams, nonetheless.

2) The fans: Patient, despite the farcical omnishambles served up to them by Formula One.

Honourable mention: Nikita Mazepin for his fastest lap.

1. The fans
2. Mr Saturday

HM: The man who almost stacked it trying to fix Perez' car
HM: Vettel, for also being a race director and a medical car on Saturday

For such a mess of an event and so little racing, I actually found quite a lot of nominations here.

Russell: If anyone here had suggested he'd qualify 2nd, they would be told to maybe get off the site and get some sleep. If that drive was not infinitely improbable, then I don't know.

Red Bull Mechanics: Couldn't have been easy to get Perez' car back up and running even with the time they were given, but if anyone can get the job done in record time, it's the RBR crew.

Vettel: Class to check up on Norris like that, so easy to just drive past and say "Is he ok?" on the radio.

The trackside fansThey sat for four hours in rain and mud for a real pittance of racing, that's passion.

Martin Brundle: How on Earth did he spot Norris' crash? The monitors they use in the combox are small, trees were in the way, and visibility was poor, yet he still picked it up before they showed a close up.

Norris' right front wheel: Getting stuck under the nose like that actually slowed the car down and stopped it hitting the other barrier.

That one blew my mind too. I think he saw it before anyone else on the planet did.

1. Alan van der Merwe - the only driver who showed some anger around Spa on Sunday. Everyone else is ineligible by default in my book.

Three main candidates stood out from the rest at the Belgian "Grand Prix" for totally different reasons. Which do you think was the most infinitely improbable? You have 48 hours
