BBC Coverage

Post by Ross Prawn »

Just watched the BBC practice programme and I thought the lead up was very good. Mike Gasgoine is a real asset and explained the technicals very well. And unlike Jordan did not try to pick an argument with DC at every commentary.

Some interesting interviews down the pit lane as well. I particularly liked the bit where they asked Klien if being a test driver was the end of his career ambitions! And Klien smiled and kept talking, rather than storming off.

And interesting interview with Flav, which was quite sensible. They must have got him before he went bonkers on the flight to China. ;)

"Other than the car behind and the driver who might get a bit startled with the sudden explosion in front, it really isn't a major safety issue from that point of view,"

Ditch Eddie Jordan and make Mike Gascoyne permanent - the campaign starts here!
"will you stop him playing tennis then?", referring to Montoya's famous shoulder injury, to which Whitmarsh replied "well, it's very difficult to play tennis on a motorbike"
