I agree with Gobs, your English has improved immensely. So much that one needs to go into the realm of the obscure double-entendre to catch you out these days.

I would like to take advantage of this situation to say a big "Thanks" to the whole forum, because I think I fall in the same case as Phoenix...this forum is really helping me with my English... and I'll listen to the podcasts to improve my listening skills

To be honest, my teacher in high school was terrible, and I had a hard time learning by myself, learning English from Pink Floyd lyrics

this is the next step

edit: If you really want to help me, quote my posts and underline when I do grammatical and lexical mistakes, then insult me comparing me to Badoer, Schiattarella or Lavaggi.
That will motivate me :P

Big respect, you're my new best friend. :D

Suggestion: since you're making the effort, how about signing up for some of the BBC's podcasts? Great quality, dozens of choices, interesting topics. Hey, I don't work for them or anything... ;)

Hey, respect to you too; English isn't your first language yet you are completely and utterly fluent, more so than the vast majority of native speakers. Well done.

You don't want to learn English through Pink Floyd or the podcast... Nothing is more pretentious than a non-American accent when speaking English. ;)

Thank you, native. Ever since I came to Britain, I told myself I didn't want the Brits to understand I was an alien from my pronunciation. I can hold a conversation without blowing my cover, and all the Mancunians think I'm a Southern fairy - up to the point when I say my name or try to use a specific curse word that my friends tell me I can never get quite right. If only they cursed more often on Radio 4...

The colour scheme of HWNSNBM's race suit looks like that of Playboy Mansion Virgin Manor Grand Prix. Do you think they could use HIS used race suits?

Eh. Who needs pronunciation? It's not like we're ever going to meet up or anything. (Okay, so we might... that will probably NOT include me. There's a damn body of water in the way of me meeting pretty much any of you.)

You can't do that, as Kuwashima and eytl are the creators of the web and, hence, the unquestionable dictators under the leadership of HWNSNBM. But you can be the cheerleader!
