In honour of what is easily the greatest moment in F1 since Takuma Sato passed Fernando Alonso's McLaren in a Super Aguri, I suggest we all adopt the above avatar for today at least. Or at least some form of Jules Bianchi avatar. :D

What if you are serving a forfeit avatar after a failed avatar challenge?

Well, I went for a Lucien Bianchi avatar, because it's sort of related and of course I'd go for a Lucien Bianchi avatar :P

I say that should be waived for today - all should be able to celebrate the glory of Jules Bianchi. :D

Though really, it should be up to whoever gave you that avatar...

Well, I totally missed the jump there. Since I feel nice, Rob can keep that avatar, as obviously Bianchi scoring is easily the best F1 moment I remember seeing in my lifetime. But remember this Rob, when I win the Williams bet, you won't get out so easily, alright? ;)

Right, as nice an event as Jules Bianchi scoring was, could you please start reverting back to other avatars? It's rather confusing to have three people with the exact same avatar...

Which is indeed what it should have been - I typo'd my previous post.

So are we getting this Belgian civil war on the go or not? Wait, who am I kidding, Belgians, actually doing something, that'll be the day :P

Indeed, it's no fun when everybody understands what we're doing. In fact, the key to surprise is not knowing what you're doing yourself! :D
If we ever were to have a civil war, it's going to be one hell of a bureaucratic one! Before you can attack your enemy, you have to fill in tons of paperwork. Yes yes, prepare for the most boring war history has produced! I challenge Tommy and King Philip to a waffle baking contest, to settle this once and for all! :D

Along with increasing the maximum avatar size, Biscione has enabled the use of images in signatures. Anyone can use them if they wish, just keep the image size reasonable (i.e. don't exceed 800px x 50px).

Also, I've gone back to the very first avatar I used here (in increased size, of course).

My avatar is simply a celebration of my favourite moment in F1 history - Vittorio Brambilla elatedly celebrating his only F1 victory, despite having smashed off the front of his March as he passed the chequered flag in Austria way back in 1975.

Got to be one of the best F1 moments. I always used to crash over the finish line on racing games and then I heard that the "Monza Gorilla" did it in real life!

I didn't realise until recently that his only pole position was so controversial, or that he'd died in what was effectively a 'bizarre gardening accident'.
