I'm the absolute only person in the chatroom this morning. No idlers or anything. I'm slightly scared. :? :P

Why was I kicked for trying to join a legit discussion? I know I am new to the chat but I did tell you who I am. :x

Does listening to a dog licking its balls get you excited?

Anyone else having difficulty logging onto the chat? Funnily enough, both my laptop and phone IP addresses have been blacklisted.

I had a similar problem before, it turned out I had an IP ban for some reason. It should expire at some point, but if it doesn't, you could try contacting mibbit via e-mail.

OK, so we've had a few issues with Mibbit in the last few days, but can anyone actually get onto the chat at the moment, as it appears to be down?

Alright, it is August 1 and the beginning of a fun game for all ops, admins and halfops in the chatroom. It's the...

Klon Kicking Summer Series

The rules are very simple:
* From August 1 to August 30 the contest will be who can kick me the most. Every approved kick earns you a point, the guy with the most points at the end of the month wins.
* A kick is approved when the majority of people in the chat agree with it being reasonable.
* You have to kick the actual individual who is most commonly associated with the username "klon" - naming a friend klon and kicking him does not kount.
* Kicks during live reports of my Alternate F1 and during live races of other series do not kount either.
* There might be one or two days during the month where no kicks are kounted, but there will be updates within the chat on that.

True, but how does that on its own warrant a ban?

I gotta tell you, this is becoming really silly now.

You can't ban each other just because you don't like each other. Can you imagine how long my queue of bans would be here if that's how we operated on the forums?!

You can kick people out for racist, sexist, homophobic, inflammatory, etc comments, but this...it's too far.

Salamander, and everyone else involved, please, stop getting angry at everybody. It's getting quite old. I'm a bit tired of all the bullying that goes on in the IRC channel but you don't see me going around kicking and banning everyone because I don't like it?

Bite the bullet and join us, what have you got to lose?

1. I'm not sure that I ever had any sanity to begin with, or rational thought.
2. Diabetic medication often leads to loose stools, so if it leads to constipation, then  .
3. These forums already contain traces of Klon, so no difference there...

So no problems there. But risks of being banned and technical difficulties, still not attractive...

Being banned only happens in extreme occasions/occasions of severe annoyance of the mods, ie. only sane people, and is always short-lived anyway.

And really? Complaining about the possibility of down time? From an F1 Rejects forum member? :P
