Hello all,

This will be a permanently stickied topic with a list of new, current and depreciated forum features, a reference guide for people wishing to use the extra features we previously didn't have on the former F1R forums.

Embed a tweet to a forum post
1. Click on a tweet to bring up its standalone view.
2. Copy the URL of the tweet shown in your browser's address bar
3. Paste the tweet's URL into the tweet tags as so;

Et voila! One embedded tweet.

A small design change - to make it clearer when users have new PMs through the board system, a banner notification will appear near the top of the page indicating you have new messages. It seems with the old notification buried in the user dropdown box, lots of people weren't noticing intra-board communication. No excuses now though!

Avatars Gallery

From now on, if you don't want the hassle of resizing and uploading your own avatars, you will be able to select an avatar from the forum's gallery section. To do so, just visit your avatar settings page, click the "Display Gallery" button, select an avatar from the options that appear, and hit "Submit". All done!

New Smilies!

Hopefully going to add more of these over time. For now, there are five. F1 Rejects turned emoticons! Just take a look at the smilies panel to the right of the new post box.

More New Avatars!

Bored of having the same old thing next to your username? Too lazy or rejectful to upload your own without it looking a stretched, pixelated mess? No problem! We have a new 'minimalist' avatar series online, harking back to reject cars old and new. One such example is now to your right -->

To change your avatar, click your username dropdown in the top right, select 'Profile', then select 'Edit avatar' on the left; use the 'Display gallery' button and finally pick 'Minimalist' from the dropdown, to see the full selection. Alternatively, for those unwilling to navigate through the UCP maze, click here to skip straight to the change avatar page.

Chatroom

As it wasn't made easy enough to access, a permanent link has been added in the top right corner, along with the other social media links, to the chatroom.

I added two things into the forum:

Firstly, in you case you didn't notice, there's now a Discord up on the top of the page. Secondly, you can change nicknames as well! So, if for some reason you don't identify yourself with your nick, you can change it.

I've added a BBCode option for centering text. So you can now make your posts and signatures look fancier.
