GP Rejects Secret Santa!

Post by SuperAguri »

Its August so its late enough to organise a secret santa. How does it work?

First you must sign up below, give your user name and country you are currently in...

You must be willing to commit to buy and send a gift to one other member, regardless of where they are, so dont buy bricks to send from the UK to Australia.

The gift must cost no more then 5 UK pounds (at time of writing, 7.10 Euros,10.70 Australian Dollars, 7.80 US Dollars, 10.20 Canadian Dollars, 2,185 Hungarian Forint, 10.70 Singapore Dollars, 26.75 Brazilian Reals, 11.84 New Zealand Dollars or 169,785 Vietnamese Dong)

On the 11th of October (extended due to forum outages), every member will be given a RNG draw of the person they must buy the gift for, I will email everyone for addresses.

You will be emailed the person you have to buy the gift for, along with their address. Buy gift then send to them to get to them in plenty of time for whatever end of year celebration they have.

You can comment on your gift on Jan 1st 2016. Do not tell anyone who you are buying a gift for.

As I am generous I will buy a gift for anyone that commits.

Sign up list . Bold means sent gift. Underlined means recieved a gift..

As much as I despise Christmas, this exercise will hopefully increase traffic on here, or at the very least, bring the "old-timers" together. I'm in.

Regifters should be shot.

Given this is my dojo, I should really be encouraging participation by also participating...

Hum... We will have do with that then, although the final result won't be that permanent. :vergne:

I feel that I ought to highlight the dangers of Dihydrogen Monoxide (DHMO) at this point...

Depends on how hot the DHMO gets. But the pressure that DHMO would exert on the gun once it starts boiling is more likely to cause the gun to explode before it starts melting due to heat or any other reason.
