2001 British Formula 3 - A Reject Odyssey

Post by Londoner »

Evening everyone

Feeder and junior series are always a hot topic of discussion, whether it's to witness new stars making a name of themselves in the motorsport world. or, in our case, to unearth new Rejects to cherish and worship. That poses a question, which feeder series season could be considered as the most Rejectful?

This was a question that Klon decided to answer once and for all in his latest Gravel Trap, and his choice was the 2001 British Formula 3 season. Reading his analysis, it's hard to argue otherwise. Featuring the likes of esteemed GP Rejects Anthony Davidson, Gianmaria Bruni and Nicholas Kiesa, along with a whole cast of lost Rejects, it's the perfect way to break into the weekend!

I liked this one, really drives home just how...sad the grid was for that season. British F3 was certainly away from it's glory days less than a decade earlier, then again if commentators thought Jan Magnussen was the next Senna, I don't know what they were thinking.
