Literal name translations

There are a few of these in football (or soccer for you Americans & Aussies) that are pretty well known such as:
Alfredo di Stefano - English: Fred Stephens
Roberto di Matteo - English: Bob Matthews
So I was thinking about some of these that are in F1, so far I've got:
Timo Glock - Tim Bell
Pedro de la Rosa - Peter Rose
Romain Grosjean - Roman Fatjohn
Felipe Massa - Phil Mass

by the way, de la rosa should be 'from the rose'
and something that i've noticed once is that gachot looks like the word cachot, which can be translated as a dialect for... jail!!! coincidence?

I see I'm not the only one to use babelfish to get the literal translations :-S, More or less every other German racing driver's name put into babelfish comes out as <name> more <surname>, maybe the creator of babelfish is German and didn't want their national F1 rejects ridiculed in such manner :-S.

I was only trying to make his name sound less dirty, but really, calling him a sailor doesn't really help, does it?

Japanese names that sound the same can have different meanings as they are written with the chinese "kanji" with contains a meaning. As a half decent japanese speaker, here is the meaning of the name of some japanese heroes. It high not be perfect, but close enough.
Yuji Ide = Existence of cure + Well-exit
Ukyo Katayama = Stone capital + Mountain that is steep on only one side
Toranosuke Takagi = By the means of the tiger + High Tree
