Ah, should have spotted that.

Nevermind, here's a first question: Is this driver a reject?

Has this driver gotten a podium finish?
My friend's USB drive spoiled, spilled tea on her laptop and had a bird poo in her hand.

What did she do in her past life to deserve this?

I'm going to read into recent responses of "nein" by asking:

Is there evidence to suggest that this driver is of German ancestry (even a German surname if you have no access to his family tree)?

////////EDIT: Didn't read (all of) the previous questions. This was a dumb question. It would be unfair for anyone invested in this question to lose a guess because of my ineptitude. Apologies. ////////

I'll accept that Pasta's cevert guess never happened.

WE HAVE A WINNER

America's Bob Bondurant was 32 years old when he made his Formula One debut at Watkins Glen for Ferrari's proxy team, North American Racing. After out-qualifying teammate Pedro Rodriguez, he ultimately finished the race in ninth place and out of the points. Not to be deterred, he found himself a drive with Reg Parnell Racing in Mexico, and then a third drive for a third different team at the start of the 1966 season in Monaco. It was here that he recorded his best ever result: fourth place in F1's crowning Grand Prix: despite qualifying sixteenth and last, he picked up three points thanks to twelve cars not being classified at the end of the race. Six more attempts at Formula One proved unproductive, and Bondurant returned to sports car racing as well as opening the driving school which became his legacy.
