RIP Guy Edwards (update: False Information)

Post by golic_2004 »

He was one of the unsung heroes in saving the life of champion Niki Lauda. His death comes exactly 5 years to the day his son Sean Edwards was killed in a private testing accident. :(

Sad news . He seemed to contribute a lot to the UK racing scene, and he had his moments as a driver. 75 isnt really 'old'.
I started supporting Emmo in 1976 (3 points )....missed 75, 74, 73, 72...

He is very much alive. There are retractions all over the web. Apparently RTL cocked it up and all other outlets just repeated the story.

James Allen, on his favourite F1 engine of all time:
"...the Life W12, I can't describe the noise to you, but imagine filling your dustbin with nuts and bolts, and then throwing it down the stairs, it was something akin to that!"
