How the deuce did Hakkinen beat Fangio?
Same goes for Raikkonen vs Brabham.

This is from ESPN, though, so I shouldn't be surprised. Their coverage for motorsport in the U.S. for anything not IndyCars made the ITV F1 coverage look like heaven on Earth, literally going out of their way to create things that didn't exist like draft lock for their NASCAR coverage.
So whenever I see ESPN or any subsidary of theirs do something stupid, I am not surprised in the slightest.
As for this poll, it's a popularity contest so of course Schumacher is going to win it, even though Fangio and Senna were probably better drivers.

This is a joke.
Ayrton Senna: 3 World Championships, 41 wins, 65 pole positions
Alex Yoong: 0 Championships, 0 wins, 0 pole positions, no points.
And they are in the same bracket!! Just typical ESPN ignorance. And as a postscript, Alex Yoong is one of their columnists.

This was posted on April Fool's Day, wasn't it?
Anyway, think about this... Yoong and Karthikeyan have won in A1GP where no F1 great has. Maybe Liuzzi will get on that list, along with Verstappen, soon now that he's racing for Piercarlo Ghinzani's A1.Team Italy.

I imagine that Asia and India have some significance as target markets to ESPN. This is the consequence of either the marketing or legal departments getting involved.
"Other than the car behind and the driver who might get a bit startled with the sudden explosion in front, it really isn't a major safety issue from that point of view,"
