Yes, I am filling in the back-story of the West Cliff Racing team
Huh? I though the West part in West Cliff Racing meant 'western cliff'?
DR-BAKER!
Just so long as Wizzie is filling in West Cliff Racing's back-story (pre-F1RWRS, 2010 season) and I get to continue their story onwards (2014 onwards) then I'm happy.

I'm going to run Mexico and Colombia under Equipo Latino. Arcesio Paz will run for Colombia, while three drivers will share the Mexico car. Luis Leal Solaraes, Leo Almanza and Jesus Nava Gonzales.
Nevermind that post. I really should read the opening post first.
Well then, Maple Leaf Racing will run the Team Canada in A1GP, eh. But I can't find any suitable drivers, so does anyone here have a good Canadian driver for me?

Al Pease? Yeah, he didn't debut in F1 until '67, but at least he was theoretically old enough to be a racing driver in 1950! Same goes for Peter Broeker.

Thanks! Then I'm going to take Al Pease. Hopefully he doesn't run to slow during the races.
Oh no you don't, Ferrarist, you (or somebody else) will enter Team Japan with Kunio Kaminomura at the wheel. I have spent too long trying to find out that name to not use it now.
Of course if I could have find out the winner of the first post-war car race held in 1952 at the Funabashi track I would have given you that name, but that is too much.
I believe Kunio Kaminomura can be used for Japan from 1957 onwards. Can't find any traces of Japanese drivers before then.
As for Canada, Al Pease can in fact be used since according to his profile on here, he raced in many national series in Canada throughout the 50s. There's also some drivers referenced on this page that I think you can use. http://www.canadianracer.com/classes.asp
So 5 countries left to take and of course Spain still needs to confirm a driver.
5 teams left, South Africa, Sweden, Northern Ireland, Wales and New Zealand. I'll now allow a third entry for those that want one and any left over from that I'll take on.
Ecurie Ecosse will run Northern Ireland's team under the banner Ecurie Irlande du Nord, with Desmond Titterington as the driver (yes, that really is his name )

And for South Africa there are some which would be eligible in this list. Namely Ernest Geering and Arthur Mackenzie. http://www.500race.org/Men/men.htm
In retrospect, Ecurie Ecosse has decided Jimmy Stewart is not yet experienced enough to compete, so for this season Alex McGlashan will be racing. However, expect JRS to break into the sport in years to come!

Well that is all available teams accounted for. I'll start the season once I have completed all the countries' liveries (11 out of 31 completed so far).
Remember you can add drivers to your roster at any point throughout the season if you wish.
In the mean time can all teams with multiple drivers please confirm which driver they will run at Silverstone.

Van Der Lof will do all races, except for the Dutch one, which will be done by Flinterman. South-Africa will start with Geering (they will change driver every race)

Just a heads up. Parsons won't be able to run at the French and Belgian Grands Prix since both of them clash with races in the AAA Championship Car. You'll need a different driver for those races. I'd suggest Harry Schell as the only American driver competing in Europe to come to mind.
