Raikkonen--9.Yes.
Grosjean--5.Ok.

Rosberg--8.That Mercedes has pace, and Rosberg proved it.
Hamilton--4.That Mercedes has pace, and Hamilton sort of proved it.

Hulkenberg--5.Dunno.
Gutierrez--2.No,just...no.

Di Resta--7.He can drive.Not bad.
Sutil--10.I don't care if he finished 7th.That time he spent in the lead lapping faster than Vettel on older tyres deserves a 15 out of 10.

Maldonado--1.Crashed,failed to qualify into Q2.
Bottas--3.He was in the race?

Vergne--6.
Ricciardo--4.

Pic--5.Did better compared to GvDG

Bianchi--5.Respectable.Nuff said
Chilton--5.Respectable,and got TV time as well.
My friend's USB drive spoiled, spilled tea on her laptop and had a bird poo in her hand.

What did she do in her past life to deserve this?

Vettel - 7 - Good start, but no pace at all after the first pitstop
Webber - 4 - Great job.

Button - 5 - Lucky to finish in the points with that awful McLaren.
Perez - 2 - ...yup.

Alonso - 9 - Great day for him.
Massa - 7 - Was going well until the second pitstop, then he became anonymous.

Raikkonen - 10 - Fantastic job. I seriously didn't expect him to win.
Grosjean - 4 - No thrills at all.

Rosberg - 8 - Car let him down
Hamilton - 7 - He was everywhere this afternoon.

Hulkenberg - N/A - A real shame. :|
Guttierez - 3 - Think I saw his car twice. So anonymous.

Di Resta - 4 - Scored points, but he was taken to the cleaners by Sutil.
Sutil - 9 - Now THAT was unexpected. A shame the muppets brought him in too early, otherwise it would have been a perfect 10.

Maldonado - 1 - Faildonado is back.
Bottas - 4 - Like Guttierez, hardly saw him.

Vergne - 5 - Meh.
Ricciardo - 4 - Bah.

Pic - 5 - S'aright.
VDG - 4 - Kept it on the track. I guess there's brownie points for that...

Bianchi - 7 - Boy's got some talent.
Chilton - 4 - Meh.

Vettel - 7
Webber - 4
Red Bull - 8 (fastest car, but tyre wear seems quite high)

Alonso - 8
Massa - 7
Ferrari - 8 (in qualifying behind Red Bull, but better in the race)

Button - 5
Perez - 2
McLaren - 2 (the car is a terrible failure)

Räikkönen - 10
Grosjean - 5 (kept himself out of trouble)
Lotus - 9 (a fast car which can save tyres - perfect for modern F1)

Rosberg - 7
Hamilton - 7
Mercedes - 6 (new year, old problems - reliability and tyre wear. But the W04 is still a massive improvement)

Hülkenberg - no rating
Gutierrez - 4
Sauber - 5 (difficult to rate without Hülkenberg as a reference)

Sutil - 9
di Resta - 5
Force India - 7 (better than expected, the car seems to be a solid points contender)

Maldonado - 3
Bottas - 5
Williams - 1 (Closer to Marussia than to the points)

Vergne - 7
Ricciardo - 5
Toro Rosso - 5 (lower midfield again)

Pic - 5
van der Garde - 2
Caterham - 2 (should rename themselves Stagnation Racing)

Vettel - 7 (Car did not have the best race pace but he was very hard on the tires, did well to hold off Massa considering)
Webber - 5 (Awful start, stuck behind Button early on and failed to get by Hamilton, must do better)

Button - 8 (Really the best result he could have hoped for, managed to leap frog Webber during the first stint and heroically held him behind.)
Perez - 6 (Better in the race then qualifying but a very underwhelming McLaren debut.)

Alonso - 9 (Had a chance for victory but can't complain against his driving)
Massa - 8 (Solid drive, poor strategy. Lets hope he can keep it up)

Raikkonen - 10 (Ace, had more in the bag then he even showed and flawless.)
Grosjean - 5 (What was that?)

Rosberg - 6 (A hairline behind Hamilton, before DNF)
Hamilton - 7 (Just about quicker than Rosberg)

Hulkenberg - N/a (3 years at Melbourne, 0 race laps)
Gutierrez - 3 (Useless pay driver)

Di Resta - 5 (Very average)
Sutil - 10 (Brilliantly fast on comeback, only the crappy soft tires screwed him a top 5 result)

Maldonado - 3 (Only retirement due to driver error)
Bottas - 4 (Disappointing slower than Maldonado, but didn't crash)

Vergne - 8 (Quick all weekend, could have scored points)
Ricciardo - 6 (Meh, was running last after the first lap!?)

Pic - 6 (Meh)
Van Der Garde - 5 (Didn't crash)

Bianchi - 8 (Finished way ahead of the Caterhams and Chilton)
Chilton - 6 (Spent most the race in last after a nose cone change, but managed overcame Van Der Derp)

Vettel - 7 (VETTELLOSESLOL)
Webber - 5 (Is it really that hard to get the car off the line?)

Button - 6 (Scored points)
Perez - 5 (Almost scored, considering he started 15th, he at least made ground)

Alonso - 8 (Didn't let Vettel get away)
Massa - 7 (See above)

Raikkonen - 10 (Victory!)
Grosjean - 6 (Fast and accident prone, or slow and stead. Hmmm)

Rosberg - 7 (Solid)
Hamilton - 8 (Made a smart move apparently  )

Hulkenberg - N/A (Great start to the season)
Gutierrez - 4 (???)

Di Resta - 5 (Sutil had no tyres and still beat him)
Sutil - 9 (An excellent drive, unlucky not to beat at least Hamilton and Webber)

Maldonado - 3 (At least he didn't hit anyone this time)
Bottas - 4 (Wasn't crap. Wasn't noticeable, either)

Vergne - 6 (At least he ran in the points)
Ricciardo - 2 (Was passed by Pic outside a DRS zone...)

Pic - 5
Van Der Garde - 5

Bianchi - 6 (Best of the backmarkers. I think. I lost interest somewhat without HRT...)
Chilton - 5

Vettel 7 (Good pole lap but once in traffic went backwards. Good overtake on Sutil)
Webber 5 (Bad start and was also hampered by being stuck in the midfield. Good recovery)
Red Bull 6 (Great single lap performance but as last year is very average in traffic, cold conditions didn't help)

Button 6 (did a good job considering the car he had, but before this weekend he was my favourite to win...)
Perez 4 (should have done better considering he was on Sutil's initial strategy)
Mclaren 1 (if they were a midfield team then their performance was good but everyone expects more from them, the gamble onto supersofts in Q2 was stupid)

Alonso 8 (Good solid race by him, outdone by Kimi's strategy)
Massa 8 (Was doing better than alonso until his strategy was changed to a three stop, unfortunately couldn't get past Vettel)
Ferrari 9 (Better start than last year, best team in the race let down by changing Massa's strategy)

Raikkonen 10 (combination of overtaking at the start, good speed and strategy, awesome win and fastest lap)
Grosjean 5 (the definition of anonymous as stated in commentary, going backwards at the start contributed to this)
Lotus 9 (good strategy call for the win, need more speed in qualy, I thought they needed to be further up than 4th row)

Rosberg 7 (Arguably the best driver this weekend in the wet conditions, shame it dried. Race finished too early for him)
Hamilton 7 (Qualy lap very good! Always was going to go backwards in the race. Solid finish)
Mercedes 5 (Technical gremlins and old tyre deg problems, at least they look more promising than last year)

Hulkenberg N/A (Let down by his car)
Gutierrez 5 (Even more anonymous than Perez and Grosjean, good clean race)
Sauber 5 (Not seen alot of them, better luck next time)

Di Resta 6 (Solid race but couldn't capitalise on a good grid position)
Sutil 9 (Wow, qualy aside, completely outshone PDR and unlucky not to keep 5th. You couldn;t have said that he was out of the car for a year)
Force India 8 (4th quickest team in the race. Good performance, let down by timing of Sutil's final stop)

Maldonado 2 (made rookies look like veterans)
Bottas 5 (Good qualy, anonymous race)
Williams 3 (I was hoping that they would be challenging the top 10 and not lingering above the caterhams and marussia)

Vergne 7 (fantastic wet performance, unlucky not to get points in the race)
Ricciardo 5 (outshone by teammate)
Toro Rosso 6 (Unlucky not to get points from the race)

Pic 5 (Anonymous)
Van Der Garde 4 (did not look comfortable at all in Q1)
Caterham 2 (the car is nowhere near where the team says it will be)

Bianchi 8 (was threatening the back of the midfield pack, had it rained he would have done)
Chilton 4 (only person to change nosecone in the race)
Marussia 7 (step forward is evident, let's hope they continue like this)

Vettel -- 7 Decent drive
Webber -- 5 Never recovered from that poor start
Red Bull -- 6 Awesome over 1 lap but 3rd fastest when it matters

Button -- 6 Ordinary drive in a bad car
Perez -- 5 Read Button but out of the points
McLaren -- 1 They're in deep trouble

Alonso -- 9 Got the most out of the strategy, absolutely relentless
Massa -- 8 Could have been 3rd if the strategy was more devisive
Ferrari -- 8 Screwed Massa, but probably best all-round

Raikkonen -- 10 Do I really need to justify this?
Grosjean -- 5 Timid
Lotus -- 8 Great strategy

Rosberg -- 7 Solid
Hamilton -- 7 Solid
Mercedes -- 6 Unconvincing, not the step forward that was promised/needed

Hulkenberg -- n/a Crying shame, think he could have done what Sutil did
Gutierrez -- 4 Anonymous
Sauber -- 5 Wait and see

Di Resta -- 5 Loses a point for mouthing off
Sutil -- 9 Deserved better than 7th
Force India -- 8 Good score for them, was nearly bigger

Maldonado -- 3 Silly error capped a mediocre drive
Bottas -- 4 Anonymous
Williams -- 2 A big step backwards

Vergne -- 5 Awesome in damp/wet quali, fell back in the race
Ricciardo -- 5 Mediocre before breaking down
Torro Rosso -- 4 Midfielders

Pic -- 5 Must be regretting that move
Van Der Garde -- 5 Acceptable
Caterham -- 3 The back of the grid beckons

Bianchi -- 8 Got on with it and was close to Bottas
Chilton -- 6 Solid debut
Marussia -- 8 A solid step forwards

Vettel 6 - really struggled with the braking points and race pace in general
Webber 5 - KERS-problems and good recovery saves him from an even worse score

Button 6 - at least save a couple of points for the midfield-car of his
Perez 5 - well, his car is currently not the least bit better compared to last year's Sauber

Alonso 8 - strong drive, nicely helped by pit strategy
Massa 6 - decent drive but missed a little extra

Raikkonen 9 - brilliant drive with an important overtaking on Hamilton in the early stages
Grosjean 4 - anonymous - although that's a little bit positive when we're talking about Crashjean

Rosberg 6 - similar to Hamilton, one can't deo much about a car failure
Hamilton 6 - great qualifying, average race

Hulkenberg N/A - showed potential racing against the clock, I expect him to score minor points in Malaysia
Gutierrez 4 - he was slow all weekend

Di Resta 6 - typical Di Resta-drive, a few points with no time on the screen
Sutil 8 - great return, hopefully he can keep this up and will be a little bit luckier sometimes

Maldonado 2 - he at least crashed without taking anybody with him
Bottas 5 - similar to Gutierrez but in a slightly slower car IMO

Vergne 6 - clearly the better from the Toro-boys today but that wasn't enough for a point
Ricciardo 3 - poor start, poor race - I actually thought he actually was happy to retire

Pic 5 - poor quali, nothing special on race day
Van Der Garde 5 - hasn't showed much potential on his first weekend but his defending against Chilton deserves to be mentioned

Bianchi 7 - maybe it is possible to shine in a Marussia? If it is, Bianchi might just do it
Chilton 5 - at least he got past VdG in the end

Vettel - 7 - was impressive in qualifying, but by his own admission was overly hard on his tyres and paid the price in the race. A little ragged at times too with his lock ups behind Sutil, but equally not a massive amount to fault him on either.
Webber - 6 - electronic problems for him again compounded a poor start, but at least he managed a respectable enough recovery

Button - 6 - the car is flawed and the team are struggling for a set up, but Button was perhaps a little fortunate that he wasn't beaten by Grosjean
Perez - 5 - again, didn't do too badly considering the car is poor, but should have countermanded McLaren's poor tyre decisions in qualifying (Button did and was able to at least salvage a top 10 start, even if he couldn't do much better in the race).

Alonso - 8 - all in all, he is probably going to be satisfied with his performance and showed his usual strong on track awareness in passing Hamilton and Sutil
Massa - 7 - faded in the latter stages of the race, but still a substantially stronger performance than last year and was able to put Vettel under more pressure than you might have expected.

Raikkonen - 8 - a fairly comfortable win in the end (and Kimi was claiming after the race that he had more left in the tank if needed), with perhaps the caveat that his single lap pace could be a little better (though Grosjean's performance suggests this is as much down to the car as the driver).
Grosjean - 5 - poor in the initial stages, but was at least able to keep his cool when pressuring Button and defending from Perez, so at least he is maturing in some senses

Rosberg - 7 - seemed very happy with the car in wet conditions and was putting in a solid job in race trim before the car broke down. Was able to keep within touch of Hamilton during the race (he was, IIRC, about 5s behind Hamilton when his car stopped) and showed decent consistency, but perhaps needs to pick up his qualifying pace a bit more.
Hamilton - 7 - again, over a single lap Hamilton was very quick but in the race itself he was struggling a little at times with tyre wear (though he wasn't the only one). Some spirited defensive driving and a solid enough result, but a little ragged during the wet running on Saturday.

Hulkenberg - N/A - fuel system problems ruined things
Gutierrez - 4 - crashed in qualifying, made up a little ground in the race but seemed to lack pace compared to the midfield pack.

Di Resta - 5 - managed to do reasonably well in qualifying, but was more average in the race (though at least scored points for the team)
Sutil - 9 - a case of what might have been for Sutil, as few would have wagered he'd lead the race at one point and been battling with Ferrari and Red Bull (even Sutil himself seems a little surprised at how well he did). I think that, admittedly, he might have drifted back a little even without the problems he had on the super soft tyres in the end - his best lap was much slower than the cars around him - but 7th is still a commendable performance

Maldonado - 3 - all at sea with the car throughout this weekend, and eventually ended up binning just ahead of his pit stop, seemingly summing up Williams's prospects for this year
Bottas - 4 - whilst he at least kept it on the track, his race pace was hardly anything to write home about.

Vergne - 7 - showed good promise in the wet conditions and could perhaps feel aggrieved that he didn't earn any points at the end
Ricciardo - 5 - maybe regretting his comments before this race now, since Vergne had the measure of him for much of this weekend

Pic - 5 - nothing really much to say about his performance, which was adequate but reflects the fact that the team have gone backwards
Van Der Garde - 4 - accident prone in qualifying, at least managed a spirited defence against Chilton but was beaten overall by Pic

Bianchi - 8 - credit where it is due, Bianchi drove the wheels off the car and put in as respectable a performance as you could probably hope for in that car.
Chilton - 6 - was, as most would probably have expected, outclassed by Bianchi, but at least managed to get past van der Garde in the latter stages after his earlier setbacks (asides from having to change his nose, he also had a very slow second pit stop).

Vettel 7 - pleasantly surprised he didn't run and hide
Webber 6 - sort your starts out!!
Red Bull 6

Alonso 9 - carrying on his form from last year
Massa 8 - him too although a bit worrying Alonso was 20 secs up on him by the end
Ferrari 8

Button 7 - did well to get 9th i feel
Perez 5 - inexperience showed compared to his teammate
McLaren 2 - oh dear!!

Raikkonen 10 - really didn't see that one coming
Grosjean 4 - where was he??
Lotus 9 - seems they're really kind on their tyres too

Rosberg 8 - great stuff in the wet. Game on with Hamilton
Hamilton 8 - great qualifying but knew he'd struggle to fend off Ferrari and Kimi in the race
Mercedes 8 - at least they're much better off than the second half of last year

Hulkenberg - N/A, can't mark him as he never started but could have been interesting to see what he could have done starting on the mediums
Gutierrez 4 - sorry but he seemed out of his depth. And to think Kobayashi hasn't got a race seat.
Sauber 4 - shame their fast driver had the unreliable car and vice-versa

Di Resta 7 - I do actually think he was at a tyre disadvantage against his teammate
Sutil 10 - what a shame the super-softs were made out of tracing paper
Force India 9 - having two experienced drivers seems to have given them a one-up in the midfield

Maldonado 3 - ha ha, oops
Bottas 6 - at least he outqualified his teammate and kept the thing on the road!
Williams 4 - a return to 2011? Hope not.

Vergne 7 - finished right on McLaren's bootlid!!
Ricciardo 5 - was that a similar home curse to Webber?
Toro Rosso 6

Van Der Garde 3 - looks hopelessly out of his depth
Pic - 5 - not great either
Caterham 2 - I'm actually annoyed they got the 10th place constructors money off marussia!

Bianchi 8 - good debut
Chilton 7 - pretty decent oo in all truth
Marussia 7 - see above note. Shame they couldn't have held on to Glock either.

Button -4 2 points but it IS the car
Perez- 4 Not his fault but still not great

Grosjean- 2 Very bad race compared to his team-mate

Rosberg-5 Unlucky with the car's reliablity
Hamilton- 7 who said the decision to leave Mclaren was bad. 5th was a little disappointing

Hulkenberg N/A car failed before start
Gutierrez- 4 Disappered but he DID finish

Di Resta -6 quiet compared to his teammate but did get into the points
Sutil- 9- What a return. Damm supersofts ruined his race

Maldonado - 1 Terrible. Bad pace and he managed to spin out
Bottas 3 unlucky with the car but didn't show much promise

Vergne - 4 very quiet but nearly got a point
Ricciardo- 3 - Vergne had the beating of him all weekend

Pic- 2 looked very nervous in the car
Van Der Garde 1 looked completely out of his depth

Bianchi - 8 Great drive nearly had the beating of Bottas
Chilton - 5 okay drive should have beaten Pic though

Perez 1 point is a bit harsh. It was the car not the driver. As was Rosberg.

Vettel: 7: A solid drive and a good start for the season. Not what he wanted, granted, but 3rd is respectable.
Webber: 4: Becoming more and more of a liability. Only thing that kept me from giving him a 3 was his comeback, but that was lukewarm at best. I'm seriously expecting him to create a starting line crash though this season if he keeps this up.
Red Bull: 6: For them it was an average outing.

Button: 4: Barely managed to get it into the points; was anonymous otherwise.
Perez: 2: Messy qualifying and like Button was anonymous.
McLaren: 2: Sort your damn car out; this thing makes the MP4-10 look fast.

Alonso: 8: Like Vettel, a solid drive. One more point than Vettel because he finished 2nd.
Massa: 9: Stuck to Alonso the whole race.
Ferrari: 8: Their speed is genuine, and with 2 drivers on form, this race definitely sets the pace for what is to come.

Raikkonen: 9: Great drive to the win, and nice overtaking moves.
Grosjean: 6: Suspected car gremlins might've let him down but should've been higher up. Hard to place him honestly.
Lotus: 7: If what Grosjean said was true then I'm not surprised that he didn't finish higher up. Otherwise, good clean race from the Enstone team.

Rosberg: 7: Would've at least finished 5th if his car didn't crap out on him.
Hamilton: 7: A wise choice moving here honestly, and did a good job getting the Silver Toilet into 5th.
Mercedes: 6: Loses a point due to Rosberg's car failing but otherwise they had pace.

Hulkenberg: N/A: Not much needs to be said about this.
Gutierrez: 3: Slow and barely seen. Heck, I saw more of the Caterhams than him.
Sauber: 3: Better luck in Malaysia.

Di Resta: 6: Average midfield drive, but got it into the points squarely.
Sutil: 10: Easily the best drive of the race. What a comeback.
Force India: 8: Loses points on strategy mistakes but otherwise they are definite points contenders. Was with Mercedes the whole day and made a fool out of McLaren. I know it's too early, but I could see them being a potential dark horse this year.

Maldonado: 2: Well that was pathetic.
Bottas: 4: Nowhere to be seen.
Williams: 2: 2011's coming back to haunt them it seems.

Vergne: 6: Another average drive, but was better than Ricciardo.
Ricciardo: 4: Dull race, and his car gave out. Loses points for his comments before the race.
Toro Rosso: 4: Uninspiring.

Pic: 5: His talent is being wasted.
Van Der Garde: 3: Well, he finished, but I can't help to think he's a Dutch Yuji Ide.
Caterham: 3: Surely they can do better than this? They're quickly becoming the new HRT but with money.

Bianchi: 8: Was beating the Williams on merit, and wasn't afraid to get into midfield.
Chilton: 6: Seemed better than the Caterhams.
Marussia: 6: Maybe this is going to be their year, but it's too early to tell right now.

Voting for the 1st time:

Vettel 8 -- Good but didn't look very comfortable. It was weird to see him lose an early lead.
Webber 5 -- He was disappeared for the first half of the race; improved a bit towards the end

Button 6 -- Managed to save points in a poor car
Perez 4 -- I expect him to do better

Alonso 9 -- Would be a 10 if he had overtaken Massa at the beggining, that would have probably improved his chances of winning. Flawless drive anyway
Massa 8 -- Very solid in the first half. He shouldn't complain of the strategy because he lost 20 secs to Alonso after the 2nd stop on newer tyres.

Raikkonen 10 -- Flawless.
Grosjean 3 -- Not good when your teammate win and you can barely hit points

Rosberg 7 -- Decent drive
Hamilton 7 -- See above

Hulkenberg N/A
Gutierrez 4 -- Was he on track?

Di Resta 6 -- Decent race
Sutil 9 -- Totally unexpected; drove always to the limit of the tyres.

Maldonado 3 -- Pastor strikes back
Bottas 5 -- Was he on track?

Vergne 5 -- See above
Ricciardo 6 -- Good drive until the car expired

Pic 5 -- Limited by his car
Van Der Garde 3 -- Off 107% says it all.

Bianchi 7 -- Good form. Totally embarrassed Chilton
Chilton 3 -- Looked pretty ordinary
Tread lightly in ARWS. Every decision might be your last.

Vettel - 8 - Didn't do much wrong
Webber - 6 - Not his best race

Alonso - 9 - Done very well to finish ahead of Vettel
Massa - 8 - Continued his good form from the end of last season

Button - 6 - Got points out of a bad car
Perez - 5 - Couldn't match Button or score points

Raikkonen - 9 - Great win
Grosjean - 4 - Just made the points, not good enough when your teammate wins

Rosberg - 7 - Ran well before his car gave up
Hamilton - 7 - Timed his move to Merc to perfection, good drive to 5th

Hulkenberg - N/A - Didn't start the race, his qualifying would have probably got him a 6
Gutierrez - 5 - Very anonymous

di Resta - 7 - Got the car into the points
Sutil - 9 - Excellent return race, even led a fair few laps

Maldonado - 2 - Poor race for anyone's standards
Bottas - 4 - Anonymous, but had the better of his teammate

Vergne - 7 - Had a good weekend, outshined Ricciardo and was in the hunt for points
Ricciardo - 5 - Can't let that happen too often

Pic - 5 - Finished the race
van der Garde - 4 - Dead last, at least he finished the race

Bianchi - 8 - Only 1 lap down on merit, great debut. Finished on the same lap as Gutierrez and Bottas
Chilton - 6 - Beat van der Garde home

I have to disagree. He was rubbish compared to his team-mate. Jenson put up a fight, yet Perez was going out of his way to move aside for cars who had just pitted and were out of position, while everyone was going through their pitstop cycle. When he was on the same lap as some of these guys, he made absolutely no effort to defend the position, or at least minimise time loss as much as possible when being passed. He was meandering all over the place when a car came up behind him. I felt like I was watching Deletraz at times. The car was crap but Button showed a handful of points was a possibility. Perez was nowhere close to managing that.

Vettel: 7. Impressive qualifying, but he struggled for pace during the race. His seventh gear can be a curse.
Webber: 4. What was that?

Button: 5. Couldn't do much with that thing, but not even the tiremaster could manage the Pirelli's to anything better than a +1 in race.
Perez: 6. His race was compromised by a terrible strategic call and ended up pretty close to the points. Nothing too impressive but the car doesn't help either.

Alonso: 9. Impressive pace, could have won if he had had some more luck with traffic. Still, his pit overtake was brilliant.
Massa: 7. He has got "it" back, although he messed up the strategy, being stuck somewhere between a 2 and a 3 stopper. Struggled at the end.

Raikkonen: 10. Probably the only man out there who understands the Pirellis, and that means a lot in this crazy season of ours.
Grosjean: 5 ...unlike his teammate, who can't seem to work with them and was lucky to salvage a point at the end.

Rosberg: - His car seemed to have improved from last season and his strategy was very interesting, until it blew off. Going to pass on him because I really don't know how to rate him, his race could have ended very well or very mediocre-ish.
Hamilton: 6. Not his best performance ever, some dangerous overtakes here and there and not very impressive in general, although it's not too bad for his first race with Merc.

Hulkenberg: - No comment, really.
Gutierrez: 5. Moved up 5 places, but you can be excused if you didn't notice.

Di Resta: 6. Fairly average. Did score, which is a plus.
Sutil: 8. Grabbed a lot of airtime for himself, was very strong and, at times, he looked like a podium candidate. SS's blew it all off though, a shame.

Maldonado: 3. He was the only driver to retire because of his own incompetence.
Bottas: 5. Brought the car back home, ahead of the terrible teams. Not much else can be said from a rookie with a bad car, but he had a decent start.

Vergne: 6. Wasn't lapped and beat his teammate.
Ricciardo: 5. Anonymous.

Pic: 4. Almost took a frontrunner out with two laps to go. Really?
Van Der Garde: 4. Spent more time outside the track than inside during Q1. Anonymous.

Bianchi: 6 Two rookies on a Marussia. Let's cut them some slack.
Chilton: 6

Vettel - 8: One of those drives again, but at least he didn't win.
Webber - 6: The home curse strikes again! At least he recovered, and finished 6th.

Button - 5: You won here 3 times, and best you can do is 9th?!
Perez - 6: Came close to scoring, but.....

Alonso - 10: Great drive by the Spaniard!
Massa - 9: It looks like he's back to his 2010 form.

Raikkonen - 10: Made the most out of his tires to get the win.
Grosjean - 5: Waaaaaay behind his teammate. But at least he didn't crash.

Rosberg - 7: Did rather well. Untill his car blew up.
Hamilton - 7: Did very well on his first outing for Mercedes. But he still has a ways to go.

Hulkenberg - 5: DNF'ed before the start, so inconclusive.
Gutierrez - 5: Made up some ground, but stayed behind.

Di Resta - 6: Not bad. Scored points.
Sutil - 10: Amazing drive after a year out. Took a gamble, but lost out.

Maldonado - 1: Back to his 2011 form.
Bottas - 5: Not great, but at least he finished the race.

Vergne - 5: Okay run.
Ricciardo - 4: Bad day on his home race.

Pic - 4: Slow, and blocking
Van Der Garde - 3: Slower.

Bianchi - 5: Finished on first race.
Chilton - 5: Finished on first race.

Vettel - 8: He drove well enough I guess, but not good enough to win...
Webber - 4: This guy could probably jump start like Maldonado did in Spa last year and still lose positions. What the hell Mark.
Red Bull - 7: Solid, but they need to tighten things up - this looks more like a 2012-style scrap than 2011 domination.

Button - 7: He did well to salvage something from that mess of a car, but things aren't going to get easier anytime soon...
Perez - 7: In all fairness, he wasn't that far off of Button despite the team utterly shafting him in qualifying.
McLaren - 0: Fire Martin Whitmarsh. He clearly has no idea what he's doing.

Alonso - 9: I don't think he was really ever going to catch Raikkonen, so 2nd is the best possible result for him, though there were a few off-moments. They didn't really cost him much though and were made up by his general brilliance.
Massa - 8: Probably could've beaten Vettel had Ferrari not left him out that extra lap.
Ferrari - 9: They are more or less exactly where they want to be. For once I think they might be a genuine Constructors' Championship threat.

Raikkonen - 10: The Iceman is well and truly back, and in top form to boot. If Lotus keeps up in the development race, he could be a true force to be reckoned with.
Grosjean - 3: Where the hell was he all weekend!?
Lotus - 8: Car looks competitive enough, but you guys need to sort out Grosjean.

Rosberg - 7: He was much closer to Hamilton than I expected, but still was not on the same level.
Hamilton - 8: 2-stopping never would've worked and it hurt him. Still, he looks a lot happier than he did at McLaren for the last 2-3 years.
Mercedes - 8: Decent enough start to the year, but can they keep this going for more than 5 or 6 races?

Hulkenberg - N/A: DNS
Gutierrez - 5: Very anonymous. I don't actually remember seeing him in the race at all
Sauber - 3: Not the start to the season they would've wanted

di Resta - 7: Did well to catch Sutil by the end, but loses a point for whinging. No, I don't like him, how did you guess?
Sutil - 9: Well, who saw that coming?
Force India - 8: Their lineup might be dull as dishwater but it certainly seems to have gotten the job done.

Maldonado - 3: Pastor whyyyyyyyyyyyy
Bottas - 6: He was alright I guess
Williams - 1: Only saved from ROTR by McLaren apparently forgetting that their cars are supposed to be good.

Vergne - 6: I think he did things...
Ricciardo - 4: Don't remember him doing much good....
Toro Rosso - 5: Mehhhhhhh

Pic - 4: Loses a point for leaving Marussia for Caterham at the absolute worst time.
van der Garde - 2: Why is this guy here? Oh right, money.
Caterham - 2: How do design good carrrrrrrr....

Bianchi - 7: He did pretty well
Chilton - 5: Didn't expect much but he was alright.
Marussia - 10: Confirmed their promise from practice - good to see one of the new teams actually doing something for once...

Vettel 8 Great quali pace, less great race pace. Nice pass on Sutil though.
Webber 4 The start didn't help, to say the least.

Alonso 9 Smart thinking at the second round of stops and showed some good racecraft. A bit ragged at the end, but held 2nd so didn't matter too much.
Massa 7 Strong in the first half of the race, dropped away after the undercut from Alonso.

Button 6 Early part of the race was shot after dodgy Q3 tactics. Did a reasonable job to keep Grosjean at bay.
Perez 4 His trademark start-on-the-harder-tyre strategy didn't work today. Bad start to his McLaren career.

Raikkonen 9 Critically took his opportunities on the first two laps, superb race pace, great win.
Grosjean 5 The rating is based on assuming he had a car problem. To start alongside your teammate and finish 80 seconds and 9 places behind isn't the way to impress the boss, Romain.

Rosberg 7 Bonus point for Q1/Q2 heroics, but was probably being contained by Hamilton in the race before his DNF.
Hamilton 7 Great job in Q3, solid if unspectacular (barring his battle with Alonso) in the race.

Hulkenberg N/A Impossible to rate, but if he could have taken Sutil's strategy with a bit more pace...
Gutierrez 4 Difficult debut. Beat Bottas home but generally poor pace.

Di Resta 7 Starting and finishing inside the top ten is a good day's work for Paul.
Sutil 9 Outshone his teammate and was brilliant in the second and third quarters of the race. Had his super-softs held up better he might have finished 5th, but 7th is a good result anyway.

Maldonado 2 Messy and slow. 2011-spec Maldonado was on show today.
Bottas 5 Finished, but hard to shine in a poor car.

Vergne 8 Really unlucky not to score points. If only he hadn't gone to slicks in Q2...
Ricciardo 6 Outclassed by Vergne all weekend, but solid.

Pic 5 Terrible quali, unsurprisingly anonoymous race.
Van der Garde 3 Nice battle with Chilton, but looked out of his depth in both quali and race.

Bianchi 8 Annihilated the rest of the tail-enders and kept the back of the midfield honest. Great debut.
Chilton 5 Nowhere near Bianchi but beat Van der Garde home.

Vettel - 8 - A good drive, but tyre degradation really cost him
Webber - 2 - The result makes his drive look a lot better than it actually was

Button - 5 - He beat Perez, I guess...
Perez - 3 - A rather disappointing debut

Alonso - 8 - Made use of superior strategic work to beat Vettel and Massa
Massa - 8 - Despite him losing against Vettel and Alonso, he looked great; a change from the first races in '11 and '12

Raikkonen - 9 - Well, a win is a win and he drove great all day long
Grosjean - 3 - What the heck were you doing all day?

Rosberg - 7 - As good as Hamilton before his car died on him
Hamilton - 7 - His strategists tried too hard and he paid the price, still a decent effort

Hulkenberg - ... - Nope
Gutierrez - 5 - Did he do something?

Di Resta - 5 - In itself better than that but Sutil put a massive egg on his face this weekend
Sutil - 10 - IIDOTR confirmed, a good drive to come back

Maldonado - 4 - Wanted to make up for Williams' weekend and got a DNF for his troubles
Bottas - 3 - At least Maldonado tried to do something...

Vergne - 8 - Good drive all weekend, in the end lost out on a point but the point (HA!) still stands
Ricciardo - 3 - Mediocre, mediocre, mediocre...

Pic - 4 - No, that was not what I expected
Van Der Garde - 5 - Did look good when trying to keep Chilton behind him

Bianchi - 9 - Great job by him, clearly had the upper hand in the backmarker battle
Chilton - 5 - ...[/quote]

Vettel: 7
Webber: 5, horrid start and only finished 6th due to pit strategy failure with Sutil

Button: 6
Perez: 6

Alonso: 8.5
Massa: 8

Raikkonen: 10
Grosjean: 5, did not crash which is good for Grosjean as bad finishes are usually crashes with him, but Raikkonen won for crying out loud while Grosjean finished 10th

Rosberg: 5
Hamilton: 8

Hulkenberg: Did not start, a 6 for credit
Gutierrez: 9, not bad for a rookie in first F1 GP

Di Resta: 8
Sutil: 10

Maldonado: 2, got out drove by a pair of rookies
Bottas: 6

Vergne: 7
Ricciardo: 7, decent enough until mechanical failure

Pic: 8, not bad for having had to race with a steward's exemption to the 107%
Van Derp Garde: 5, only for finishing

Bianchi: 10, great finish for backmarker car
Chilton: 8, not bad considering he ran into Van Derp Garde's car, had to pit for repairs then finished in front of Mr. Derp.

Here are my humble ratings that I tried to put up last night but got timed out:(

Vettel - 7 - qualified well but was found wanting in the race
Webber - 5 - had a jinxed race. First the ECU shits itself, then the KERS is gone for 20 laps and then to top it off the car comes off the jacks at the final pit stop.
Red Bull - 6. Got a huge kick up the ass this race. They will need to lift their game in Malaysia.

Button - 5 - tried hard and sacrificed his Sunday morning coffee for little benefit.
Perez - 4 - average race compromised by qualifying
Mclaren - 4 - the car is a dog of a car. Couple that with the somewhat interesting call of sending Perez and Button on super softs in Q2. What did it achieve?

Alonso -8 - drove a good race overall.
Massa - 7 - kept up the fight that he started last year.
Ferrari - 7 - overall a good weekend for the prancing horses...

Rakkonen - 10 - flawless race by Kimi. Will be a force this year
Grosjean - 6 - he managed to stay out of the way of everyone on the first lap...
Lotus - 9 - tactically kicked everyone's ass this weekend.

Romberg - 6 - didn't do much before his retirement.
Hamilton - 8 - managed to push for most of the race
Mercedes 7 - managed to improve a little over the weekend but not there fighting it out with the big boys as yet

Hulkenberg - no rating - cant really rate a driver that didn't get to the grid.
Gutierrez - 7- not too bad a debut for a rookie
Dauber - 5 - average weekend for Sauber

Di Resta - 7 - was a reasonable race but was sort of in the background
Sunil - 9 - arguably the drive of the race
Force India - 8 - mainly thanks to sutil's drive..

Maldonado - 3 -did bugger all during the race then binned it.
Bottas - 6- reasonable debut race
Williams - 5 - a bare pass.

Vergne - 4 - was lurking in the shadows but didn't do much
Riccardio - 4 - the race was flawed from the start
Torro Rosso - 4 largely unnoticed this race

Pic - 3 - went from a go kart last year to a broken down go kart. Will be a mobile chicane this year
Van Derp Garde - 4 - ok for a debut but is going to struggle being in such a reject team
Caterhem -3 - mobile chicanes...

Bianchi -8 - impressive debut in an ordinary car
Chiton -7- has potential to be a good racer.
Marussia - 6- they were never going to threaten anyone but managed to acquit themselves pretty well.

Reject of the race for me is Mclaren. They have a dog of a car and made a big tactical blue with regards to tyre choices in Q2

Vettel 8 Great qualifying, less good with tyre wera in race
Webber 3 Another great start

Button 7 drove well given where the car is
Perez 6 similar to Button but unable to make starting on mediums work for him

Alonso 8 car looks good, decent race
Massa 9 better than Nando until badly timed stop dropped him behind

Raikkonen 10 no fuss, easy win, even pulled away at the end
Grosjean 5 lack of time to setup car with latest parts compromised race, kept it clean

Rosberg 8 great in wet/mixed qualy
Hamilton 7 decent drive but inconclusive as to sars race pace

Hulkenberg n/a how disappointing was that?
Gutierrez 5 Finished, no fireworks

Di Resta 8 compromised by trying to make a two-stoppers work even though started on supersofts Should have run mediums in Q3
Sutil 9 Impressive drive given time out and only getting the gig in final test. No mistakes

Klon wrote:Vettel - 8 - A good drive, but tyre degradation really cost him
Webber - 2 - The result makes his drive look a lot better than it actually was

Chilton - 5 - ...

I thought mediocre was a 5 for average performance, but then Ricciardo didn't make it to the end so what to do?

I agree. it may help if we had a standard rating list of 10 - 1

Example, I use this rating list for example and is reflected in my ratings:
10 - Perfect
9 - Excellent
8 - Very Good
7 - Good
6 - Average
5 - Mediocre
4 - Bad
3 - Very Bad
2 - Really Bad
1 - Worst ever

He just looked bad all weekend. I used mediocre in the "bush-leauge" meaning not the "middle-rate" one.
