You know the deal everyone.

My picks:

1. Lewis Hamilton. Comes from pole to tyre failure to pushing like a madman to finish in the top 5.

2. Felipe Massa. 'Nuff said.

based on the assumption that, at any moment in time, there is a non-zero probability that even the slowest, most inexperienced and least reliable of underdogs might win the race. That under every rock, there might be a gold nugget. This is the award for that first podium that we all celebrate, for the overtake no-one was expecting, for Charles Pic's first win. This is the award, in short, for the driver or team that makes you go "Woah! Where did THAT come from?!".

Just remember: this is a feel-good award, that will focus on nothing but track action.

1. Lewis Hamilton - I expected him to be absolutely nowhere after that puncture. A great drive which evoked the days of 2007 when he was arguably the best driver on the grid.
2. Daniel Ricciardo - Could've finished on the podium; a solid drive that did his prospects no end of good.

1. Lewis Hamilton: He deserved the victory today (although Mercedes didn't) but was robbed by Pirelli. A great recovery drive after that.
2. (shared, 2 points for each) Mark Webber: After the awful start and front wing damage, I thought he would finish in the lower points but he had one of the best drives of the day.
Felipe Massa: After the crash in second practice, I thought this would be a nightmare weekend for him. However, he was ahead of Alonso after a brilliant start and would probably have had a podium if not for his unlucky puncture.
Nico Rosberg's luck: He drove well but one can't deny that he was unbelievably lucky with Hamilton's puncture and Vettel's gearbox failure. Let's not forget that his start was pretty bad and he would most likely have lost positions if not for Webber and Ricciardo also dropping down.

1. Hamilton - he managed to salvage what looked like an almost certain DNF to a stirling finish by the end

2. Alonso - maybe the award here should go to his strategists - without their call before the final stop, I don't expect he'd have made such short work of almost everyone in front of him. He'll still be a little disappointed to have not maximised the opportunity afforded to him by Vettel's gearbox failure though. That said, it's a sizeable chunk out of the deficit, and it does still keep him firmly in the hunt for the 2013 title.

I'm not impressed by Hamilton's, Webber's or Massa's recovery, all of them were aided by the safety car. So I rather go with those whose strategy was ruined by the SC:

1 Mark Webber: The worst tortoise start ever was followed with some of the best moves of the day. Whenever i saw him on the wellington straight he was pulling off some Overtaking.

2 Felipe Massa: For all the raving about how well Hamilton drove he didn't spin did he? Massa however did spin and still fought back to 6th

I think that this is going to be quite a difficult race to decide upon because there were a lot of drivers who put in quite strong performances today. Hamilton deserves a mention for his recovery drive, and Massa, similarly, deserves credit for making up a lot of lost ground too - yes, both of them were helped by safety cars and the double DRS zones, but, even so, they managed to make it through the field and pulled off some very good passes despite robust defending from their opponents. Webber, too, deserves credit for showing similar grit and determination - he made it clear to the team that he was going to go for broke on the restart and only just came up short in the end.
Ricciardo had a solid run too - he might have dropped back a bit after the team also decided not to pit him near the end, but he still managed to pick up a useful number of points there. Sutil deserves credit too for resisting a lot of pressure in the opening stages of the race and putting up a robust, but fair, defence of his position - he was a little unlucky that he slipped back, but, on the other hand, he was only that far up the order when the safety car came out because he didn't pit (he had been running in 7th), so perhaps it wasn't quite so surprising that he did end up going backwards in that final stint.

This one was a show of two people.

1.-Lewis Hamilton: After that puncture, most people would've said "I give up", but Lew came back with fury and a duel that hopefully will repeat in the remaining GP's... fighting for victory.
2.-Fernando Alonso: After Felipinho blow the getaway master in his own game, lost positions and seems to be back in last year's Ferrari, the Spaniard was an overtaking machine to reach pódium.

Honorable mentions to Mark Webber(running for fun is better), Daniel Ricciardo ("I want my (real)Red Bull!") and whatever glitch ended Seb Vettel's race

The Clash of the Titans Award goes to Alonso's and Hamilton´s tándem charge on the final stint: Can I dream of having both of them in the same team again, fighting for the title without BS orders?

1. Hamilton and Massa shared, good comeback drives from the pair of them, especially for Massa as this is one of his weaker tracks.
2. Webber and new Silverstone layout, true aussie grit 'nuff said and since the new layout was raced in 2010 I've thought that the layout/racing on circuit was pretty much meh with the loss of Bridge corner, this race has made me think otherwise

1st - Both Force India drivers I felt drove very well. Always sad when a car or strategy hinders otherwise strong drives.

2nd - Webber - Would've loved to see him get a win in his final British Grand Prix, though I'm still happy for Rosberg.
