Vettel: 9. Gearbox failure robs him of an easy victory.
Webber: 10. Drove like a madman, thus getting him second.
Red Bull: 8. Doing well, but gearbox failure doesn't help your driver.

Alonso: 9. Brilliant drive.
Massa: 10. IIDOTR #2. Brilliance on wheels.
Ferrari: 6. Epic fail in qualifying. Not doing them good in the race.

Button: 4. Pathetic.
Pérez: 5. Better than Button, unfortunate victim of tyre failure (twice) :!:
McLaren: 0. No points again. Got beat by BOTH Williams cars.

Räikkönen: 7. Drove well, but too slow in the end. Breaks Schumacher's record of consecutive points finishes. No DNF's since his comeback.
Grosjean: 3. Nothing, really.
Lotus: 6. Need better quali pace.

Rosberg: 10. Lucky, but drove very well.
Hamilton: 10. IIDOTR #1. Great comeback to finish 4th.
Mercedes: 8. Great stuff from Brackley.

Hülkenberg: 5. At least he got a point.
Guiterrez: 2. Awful.
Sauber: 1. Relying on other's misfortunes.

di Resta: 9. Awesome drive to score points.
Sutil: 8. If his strategists weren't "chimps" by Shadaza's standards, he may have got a podium.
Force India: 8. 5th in the constructors is definite if McLaren keep sucking.

Maldonado: 5. Got 11th. The best the team can hope for.
Bottas: 4. Beat by his teammate, but got 12th.
Williams: 3. Did quite a bit better than the past few events.

Bianchi: 5. Beat Chilton AGAIN.
Chilton: 3. Is Gastón Mazzacane in his car?
Marussia: 5. Still ahead of Caterham in my opinion.

Pirelli: 0 5 spectacular blowouts the highlight of a great race and likely to raise political uproar.

Vettel: 9: Another easy drive but this time thwarted by a gearbox failure.
Webber: 9: Great recovery drive from that needless tangle with Button and Grosjean.
Red Bull: 8: Gets a point docked for a gearbox failure.

Alonso: 8: A good day in the office for Alonso, but too far away from Webber to do anything.
Massa: 9: Excellent recovery drive into the points after that scary tire explosion.
Ferrari: 6: Sort out your qualifying!

Button: 4: Better than Canada but still very slow.
Perez: 6: Would've scored if he didn't have a tire failure.
McLaren: 3: Never mind they were beaten by both Force Indias (again) but this time beaten by both Williams.

Hamilton: 9: See Massa.
Rosberg: 9: Kept it clean the whole race. Gets a point docked for that speeding infringement however.
Mercedes: 8: Has the speed but tires are still an issue for the team.

Raikkonen: 7: Average day for Raikkonen though fell towards the end again.
Grosjean: 6: Able to keep up with Raikkonen until his car started failing.
Lotus: 5: Average at best but they can't rely on race pace alone.

Hulkenberg: 5: Anonymous though he does get a point.
Gutierrez: 2: Anonymous and what the hell happened to his wing? Otherwise slow as usual.
Sauber: 2: Still disappointing.

di Resta: 9: Excellent drive into the points.
Sutil: 8: Would've gotten a podium spot had it not been for the safety car. Otherwise a great drive.
Force India: 7: Podium might've been lost after the 2nd safety car but they're beating one of the biggest names in F1.

Maldonado: 5: Got 11th, which isn't saying much but with the car they have it's the best they can do.
Bottas: 4: Anonymous but did get 12th, and beat Button.
Williams: 2: Drivers flattered the car today.

Ricciardo: 7: Did what he could today and came off well.
Vergne: 5: Could've scored much higher if he didn't have that tire explosion.
Toro Rosso: 6: Getting there but not at the level of Force India yet, though at the pace they are going at they could beat McLaren.

Pic: 6: Did alright I guess.
Van de Garde: 4: Kept it clean, which was needed.
Caterham: 4: Being beaten by Marussia again.

Bianchi: 6: Did well with a crap car.
Chilton: 4: Who?
Marussia: 5: Still slow but getting better.

Front tyre failed, damaging the wing.

Vettel 9 - Red Bull were probably the 2nd fastest car this weekend, but he maximised his chances. Blameless for the DNF.
Webber 9 - Point docked for the start, which was awful even by his standards. Otherwise, gutsy recovery drive.

Alonso 8 - Solid, did what he had to. Will be very concerned that the Ferrari pace has gone AWOL though.
Massa 8 - That start was wondrous. Did well to recover after the tyre failure.

Button 4 - Slower than Perez all day and a lamb to the slaughter in the final seven laps.
Perez 5 - I'm still not convinced he'd have scored even without the tyre failure.

Raikkonen 8 - Looked on for a podium until the last safety car and the Lotus pit error.
Grosjean 5 - 4 races without points now and Lotus have really lost touch with 2nd in the WCC.

Rosberg 9 - Solid performance, the win did kind of fall into his lap though.
Hamilton 8 - Commanding first stint, did nothing until the last 15 laps, then fought back spectacularly through the field. Maybe could have snatched a podium if he cleared di Resta faster.

Hulkenberg 7 - A point's not bad in that Sauber.
Gutierrez 3 - Very slow in qualifying, anonymous until his own tyre failure.

Di Resta 7 - A nice recovery drive but kind of tailed off in the final stint.
Sutil 7 - For the first half of the race he held onto 3rd manfully. A little unlucky to fall back so much at the end, and the move on Ricciardo looked a bit naughty.

Maldonado 6 - One of his better weekends this year. Close to a point.
Bottas 5 - Outpaced by his teammate this weekend, but 12th isn't a bad result.

Vergne 5 - Qualifying blunder came at a bad time. His race was ruined by his own puncture.
Ricciardo 7 - See 'Sutil, A.' A good comeback after Vergne's strong recent performances.

Pic 6 - Best of the backmarkers, not too far off the pace this weekend.
Van der Garde 3 - Utterly nowhere.

Bianchi 6 - OK job, nothing much to shout about.
Chilton 4 - Gains a point for beating Van der Garde to the finish.

I'm giving high marks today.

Vettel 9 - good drive, car failed, unlucky
Webber 9 - great job at the end, he could've won with an average start

Alonso 8 - salvaged a valuable podium finish with a little luck
Massa 9 - great start, puncture ruined his podium chances

Button 7 - chance for good points ruined by SC
Perez 7 - chance for good points ruined by puncture

Raikkonen 9 - chance for podium ruined by his own team
Grosjean 5 - going backwards

Rosberg 9 - great drive, even though his win was lucky
Hamilton 9 - he was on course to win this thing

Hülkenberg 7 - scored a point finally
Gutierrez 6 - his start was great

Di Resta 7 - starting from the last row didn't make it easy
Sutil 9 - his strategy might have worked but for the last safety car

Maldonado 7 - looked promising - the first time this year
Bottas 6 - beaten by Maldonado

Vergne 5 - nothing special
Ricciardo 9 - great drive, similar to Vergne's performance in Canada

Pic 8 - strongest of the backmarkers
van der Garde 5 - last of the backmarkers

Bianchi 7 - see Caterhams
Chilton 6 - see Caterhams

Vettel: 8 Gearbox killed his chance at victory (Alonso's curse perhaps?), but his lead wasen't as large as his last few wins. Was still driving fast and hard for most of the race.
Webber: 9 An amazing run up into 2nd after Vettel's DNF. Almost stole the win in the end.
Red Bull: 8 Had a strong weekend despite Vettel's DNF. Proved that they aren't winning just because of Vettel.

Alonso: 8 Ran well the whole race, especially in the last few laps to take 3rd.
Massa: 8 Fought hard back up the field after his tire blew. Qualifying was pretty bad though.
Ferrari: 8 Still can't seem to start on the right foot in qualifying. Need to fix that if they still want either championship.

Rosberg: 8 Kept in Vettel's mirrors for most of the race. Seemed a bit lucky to stay in 1st amidst the endgame scramble.
Hamilton: 9 Slogged back into the high points after being the first to lose his tires. Lost to Alonso again in the final laps.
Mercedes: 9 Another strong weekend, now 2nd in constructors.

Raikkonen: 8 Good showing on race day, but just couldnt keep up in the endgame rush with his worn tires.
Grosjean: 7 Was behind Raikkonen after the first SC. Just what happened that made him DNF near the end!? (damn TV director  )
Lotus: 7 Same as Ferrari, can't rely on just race speed to stay in contention. Loss of important staff may be sinking in.

Di Resta: 7 Another powerful slog up from the back. Had luck in the chaos near the end to slide him into the points though.
Sutil: 8 Fought into and held onto 3rd for a large part of the race. Skill and tires let him down in the final laps.
Force India: 8 Another 2-0 scoring over Mclaren. Just can't seem to hold onto their podiums.

Button: 4 Was in the low points most of the time, just sank like a stone after the second SC.
Perez: 5 DNFed after the second SC, but wasent very competitive beforehand either.
Mclaren: 4 Another lackluster showing. Toro Rosso of all things has a chance to beat them now...

Riccardo: 7 Held around the midpoints all day after some good driving. Trying to show that he is worthy of that second Red Bull spot next year?
Vergne: 7 Ran pretty well until the tires screwed him over. (Enoch needs to stop predicting  )
Toro Rosso: 7 The teammate battle continues. Their consistency can put them in contention with Mclaren by season end.

Hulkenburg: 6 Slipped into 10th amidst the closing carnage. Was nowhere to be seen otherwise.
Gutierrez: 5 Only saw him a victim of the Pastor's lunacy.
Sauber: 5 Finally got another point. Still uncompetitive.

Maldonado: 5 Almost reached the points. Got in a tangle with Gutierrez toward the end.
Bottas: 5 Almost reached points, but was nowhere on the TV.
Williams: 5 Beat both Mclarens, but more through luck than skill.

Pic: 5 Beat both Marussias, but not on pace with everyone else.
Van Der Garde: 4 Dead last and nowhere to be seen.
Caterham: 5 Still cant shake the Marussias.

Bianchi: 5 Lost to Pic again.
Chilton: 4 Was he even mentioned during the race?
Marussia: 5 In battle with the Caterhams, and still off of the main pace.

good_Ralf's ratings

Vettel - 9 - One-off gearbox failure cost him another (lucky?) win
Webber - 9 - A good final British GP, his charge in the final laps almost giving him victory
Red Bull - 8 - Mixed fortunes and emotions but no complaints this time

Alonso - 9 - Used fresh rubber to snatch a podium in an uncompetitive weekend
Massa - 9 - His recovery drive was as good as Hamilton's and deserved a podium
Ferrari - 7 - Their quali pace was at its worst and needs to be improved and fast

Button - 6 - Poor car meant another British GP without a podium
Perez - 7 - Should have scored but for his second tyre explosion
McLaren - 4 - That's two races without scoring a point and they're really going backwards

Raikkonen - 7 - A combination of a poor machinery and strategy cost him a critical result
Grosjean - 5 - Just slid down after and then retired, making it 4 no-score races
Lotus - 5 - Not much improvement from Canada and their WCC hopes are all but over

Rosberg - 9 - Lucky to win but it was well deserved as he was closing on Vettel
Hamilton - 10 - Has he got a home curse as well?
Mercedes - 9 - Their race pace is really improving as are their championship chances

Hulkenberg - 6 - Lucky to score just a single point
Gutierrez - 3 - Didn't do much and was a victim of a Pirelli failure
Sauber - 4 - Still anonymous

di Resta - 7 - Battle with Hamilton en route to more points was impressive but how much was down to strategy?
Sutil - 9 - Deserved a podium but the SC and his strategy cost him dear
Force India - 7 - Disappointing weekend given that they lost out to the big guns in the end

Maldonado - 5 - Nearly got Williams their first points of the season
Bottas - 4 - Got beaten by the Reverend
Williams - 3 - Lucky to even miss out on points at their 600th event

Ricciardo - 9 - Was in the same position as Sutil
Vergne - 7 - Enoch's curse strikes again but only quali was Jean's fault
Toro Rosso - 7 - Competitive weekend with the exception of Vergne's failure

Pic - 5 - Highest finisher in the MLP league
van der Garde - 2 - Was last on grid and in race as well
Caterham - 4 - Mixing it with Marussia again, I think

Bianchi - 5 - Beaten by Pic but did OK
Chilton - 3 - Avoided finishing last at home by the skin of his teeth
Marussia - 4 - Mixing it with Caterham

Vettel - 8 - He lead the race, I suppose..
Webber - 9 - Another lap and he'd have been victorious.

Alonso - 9 - Made his way up from a middling grid postion to the podium
Massa - 10 - Considering his blowout happened so far away from the pits, to get the car to the finish well into the points is amazing.

Button - 4 - The MP4-28 is a shitbox.
Perez - 4 - The MP4-28 is a shitbox

Raikkonen - 7 - Lost a podium through his team screwing his strategy.
Grosjean - 4 - I still don't know what happened for him to suddenly drop through the order...

Rosberg - 9 - A lucky win, but I'm fairly sure he would have pressurized Vettel immensely towards the end
Hamilton - 10 - To almost finish on the podium after losing a heap of time due to his blowout is incredible.

Hulkenberg - 8 - Admittedly helped by Grosjean's retirement and McLaren being shite, but to drag that shitbox Sauber into the top 10 is a great effort.
Gutierrez - 3 - I have this feeling he's not gonna score at all this season.

Di Resta - 7 - Provided some great entertainment on his way to the points
Sutil - 9 - But for the final safety car, he'd been on the podium.

Maldonado - 6 - Almost dragged that shitbox Williams into the points
Bottas - 6 - Ditto.

Ricciardo - 9 - Nearly took a step towards unrejectification
Vergne - 4 - Enoch's curse strikes again!

Pic - 5 - Meh
VDG - 3 - Bah

Bianchi - 5 - Meh
Chilton - 3 - His elder brother would've done a better job of it. #TomChiltontoF1

How do you decide ties between drivers. Is it the number of 10's because if it is then Hamilton should be ahead as he got 7 10's compared to Webber on 4

If I were to guess, I'd say actual finishing position in the race.

Everything's great.
I'm not surprised about anything.

That's right, although if one of the drivers being tied is a reject than he finishes higher - but this wasn't the case now in either of the pairs.
