This is where my strategy of not changing the drivers comes into its own. I just take the good with the bad (usually the bad. On the shin) and soldier on. One of my best scores ever, with Alonso and Button bringing home the bacon, and Hulkenberg and Bottas lost in no man's land.

Wish I hadn't changed my drivers in my premier team - took out Alonso, Raikkonen and di Resta and put in Webber, Grosjean, Maldonado and Vergne for the same money.

Only 310 points down the toilet :x :x :x

Fantasy Racers 2013: Monaco GP Update

The Good
Top scorer: The Holy Romain Empire (Divina_Galica) - 781 points
IIDOTR: The Holy Romain Empire (Divina_Galica) - Amazing round for the Holy Romain Empire sees them jump from 16th to 12th. Real IIDOTR material right here. Nico Rosberg and Sutil contributed to such round.
Top 3 Overall:
1. Autodynamics Grand Prix (eurobrun) - 3475 points
2. Aeroracing Engineering (Phoenix) - 3450 points
3. Restov Racing (takagi_for_the_win) - 3240 points

The Bad

Lowest Scorer: Horns Racing (Horns) - 279 points
ROTR: Horns Racing (Horns) - While this season a less than 300 points seems to give a straight RoTR, this one wasn't so straight forward with our leaders, Autodynamics, making a case for it. In the end though, the continued tumble down the order granted it. That and average races for championship contenders Alonso and Raikkonen joined by a miserable weekend all around for Massa.
Bottom 3:
16. Melrose Racing Team (Wizzie) - 2572 points
17. White Angel Racing (FMecha) - 2557 points
18. DNPQ Racing (pi314159) - 2528 points

Personal League table: 326th out of 1364 leagues (4227 points). It wasn't the ceiling. Another 69 places saw us climb again and get on the verge of the top 300. Still, it is a rejectful performance in that our league is one of the biggest that are around.
Colin Kolles on F111, 2011 HRT challenger: The car doesn't look too bad; it looks like a modern F1 car.

And the MRTFAILSLOL trainwreck continues, as well fall back down to second last. Sad thing is it's still our second-best single-round score all year :|

Fantasy Racers 2013: Hungarian GP update

The Good
Top scorer: The Holy Romain Empire (Divina_Galica) - 635 points
IIDOTR: Virgin-Climax Racing (Salamander) - Equal second highest points score for the round sees them jump up from 16th to just shy of 13th.
Top 3 Overall:
1. Autodynamics Grand Prix (eurobrun) - 5741 points
2. Aeroracing Engineering (Phoenix) - 5617 points
3. Super Bock - UMM (DanielPT) - 5529 points

The Bad

Lowest Scorer: Team Rojo (adriojim) - 364 points
ROTR: Restov Racing (takagi_for_the_win) - Team Rojo's poor score made them candidates for this, but Restov sneak it, mainly down to the fact that Restov are outsiders for the title (or at least, were) and only scored 67 more points than Rojo in a weekend that sees them slip from 3rd to 5th and lose nearly 200 points on Autodynamics.
Bottom 3:
16. Melrose Racing Team (Wizzie) - 4369 points
17. DNPQ Racing (pi314159) - 4350 points
18. White Angel Racing (FMecha) - 4074 points

The season is over and Restov Racing wins the F1 Rejects league, with Fernando Alonso, Sebastien Vettel and Nico Rosberg.

Out of curiosity, the person who won overall had Sebastien Vettel, Mark Webber, Nico Rosberg and Romain Grosjean.

Just registered and signed up for the first time, with strategy two. All Mercedes-powered. Hmmm, pre-season testing seems to suggest this will work, but who knows? Team name is Foxdale Auto Racing Team. Obviously.

Have to say, we've got an excellent turnout this year, I think it was 12 or 13 of us last season so to be on almost 20 is great! Nice mix of strategy 1s and 2s as well. Good luck everyone! :)

I thought everyone was going with 1s, cause when I signed up everyone was on that :P Though obviously that strategy does have its benefits... Looking forward to the season!

For the first time ever, I'm in on one of these leagues, as The Hammer of Rejectribution. The name worked just that bit better than The Cauld Lad of Chilton...

I have very little idea how this is going to turn out, except that (1) I'll probably be somewhere near the back of the grid and (2) I've got a similar strategy to Foxdale, so there's a private battle to be had here. But which one of us will be Caterham and which will be Marussia?

Brace yourself, Baker...
