yeah i first discovered it on the weekend of the Turkish GP 2007.. for the benefit of those who don't know what i'm on about:
I happened to be in Stevenage at the time of the race, and i was listening to Crofty on Radio 5 live..
then i just said to myself "Please GOD! just puncture his tyre or something." No sooner had I said that.. Crofty went mental on the radio.. and i nearly lost control of my dad's car.
And for China and Brazil.. again i just drove up the A1 from Barnet/Potters Bar area to Stevenage - Just to make sure it wasn't a fluke..

Then last year I Attended both Germany and Abu Dhabi.. and we all know what happened.

I SHOULD BE GETTING PAID by Ferrari to attend GPs

Dude, you live in Abu Dhabi and you're going to at least three races next year-- do you really need to be paid much?

I would have loved to visit Montreal, but I'm not sure if I could afford it since I killed my savings and such last year. It's something for me to think about, at least.

on-topic :
if i have money, belgium would be a big possibility (take a tent with me and go camping with rejects? or otherwise just alone, doesn't matter much if i'm going as a loner or as part of a club of loners :D )
if i have more money, germany and UK would be possible as it is do-able close to me, and spain would be possible because my sister lives there at the moment (but i guess the spanish circuits aren't worth going to...)
if i have more money and more time, other races would be possible too, but that's not going to happen :P
I don't know what i want and i want it now!

I'm definitely looking to go to one this year with some mates. I don't really have a preference, but they seem to like the idea of Hungary. This is all providing I have no exams getting in the way...

If there is one GP I'd like to go to, it would be the Australian GP, or possibly the Belgian. But alas I have no money to go to any.

By the way, razta, why do you live in the UAE? You don't seem very... very... (what's the demonym for UAE?). Or are you Andreas Zuber?

No, it's too expensive. These days, you can actually see more when you're just watching it on TV.

Wikipedia says you're right.

I'm not going to any races this year unfortunately. I've been at one before, the British in 2007, but that was with my mum and was really rushed. I keep meaning to broach the topic of going on my own to one, in either summer 2011 or 2012. It'd be a bit lonely, but definitely worth it. I'd (nearly) sacrifice a limb to be able to go to races regularly.

Aiplanes, I reckon.

Now, before I get papaya'd to death, I should point out that I once got that answer from a Chinese colleague back in Canterbury...

On-topic: I'm trying to scrape together enough to go to Silverstone. I'm wondering if Spa could be within range if I could get a cheap flight out of Manchester or Liverpool and camp there... but it'll be hard, money is definitely in short supply.

When and where will you be in Australia? If you're in Sydney sometime in October then get your a** over to Bathurst for the Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000. Trust me I went there (With my dad and brother and with 2 of my friends who were camping for the weekend. We only came on Sunday) last year and you will not regret it

Work is taking me all around the world, will be visiting San Francisco and London too... as well as Holland and Scotland...

Will be in Tasmania so not too near Sydney, but always wanted to attend the Bathurst 1000. I was in Brisbane in 2008 but sadly was working so couldn't go down to see it but did catch it on TV.

When in Melbourne in 2008, I did managed to go to the Australian GP and saw my beloved Super Aguri team with Sato and Davidson, was the only one there wearing Super Aguri merchandise....

He does http://www.theformula1shopandmore.co.uk/store/
although there is no mention of Super Aguri on the website.m There is an email address and phone number though. Send him an email asking what he's got. It was all in his bargain bin.

I think he has some BMW and Honda stuff in his shop and I know he has a lot of Toyota stuff that is reduced.

Sorry, I wasn't intending coming on here and just advertising my mates shop!

Anyway, back to the topic - does anyone fancy meeting up at Silverstone or Spa?

I am sure it's all good as Super Agrui merchandise should be advertised so more people can wear it and show how proud they are. I still have a Minardi T-Shirt (fairly worn) and a Leyton House and Footwork t-shirt that I wear rarely...
