2017 TRRS: Draft some drivers!
Hi everyone,
This is Toyota Rejects Racing Series - a series designed with a very specific purpose in mind for the canon.
Certain drivers become idle when their DEC holders abandon them, without setting any firm plans in place, such are deliberately retiring them. This series is designed to give those a second chance, essentially acting as a way to stop them getting race-rusty, and using the classification of this series to act as a draft order, for sending these drivers out to new owners.
The series will be set in January of the canon calendar, so as to not clash with other series, and also give them a chance of only sitting out one season from the rest of the canon series rather than two. I will set the list of drivers available, but people can sign up to be team owners and choose from set list of drivers (RNG will eventually decide which driver signs for which team where there is much interest).
Driver owners who wish to offload DECs may send their drivers here if they so request, please offer them in this thread if you want them to continue racing under different ownership instead of retiring.
To make things easier, there'll be no user-side stats or upgrading - instead, previous experience will be taken into consideration, with an RNG range assigned to each driver as a base value. There will also be a random element of driver form, which will be RNG'd before every round of the season, that is applied on top of the base value. Nothing else will be required.
Something else important to consider; you are not allowed to terminate a contract with a driver - but you can swap drivers with other teams where both parties agree.
Entry list and available drivers are detailed below.

Re: 2017 Toyota Rejects Racing Series: Planning
There have been a few drivers discarded from F1RDS, be it through their owners' absence or simply left on the scrapheap. Regardless, here are some drivers who I think are eligible for the TRS:
Manuel Riva (MEX)
Matt Grove (AUS)
Giuseppe Colombo (ITA)
Alberto Lampredi (ITA)
Behrman Reith (GER)

I don't have any use for Phil McCracken next season. Though given his age, it might be better if he just retired.

Well, think about it, and tell me when you have a decision. I won't take retired drivers into this series

Well then, just put him up on the list. At least he has loads of experience.

With Ronden taking over GTI, this could be a good solution for GTI to remain active. After all, the team name is Grands Travaux Inutiles, and this is Grand Racing Inutile.

Regarding Matt Grove, I was talking to the friend of mine that the character was named after and he basically said I can do whatever I like with the chatacter. So I will probably still use the chatacter in some capacity.

Lazlow was supposed to drive for Samurai Rocket SARS team and Pulaski was supposed to drive in F1RDS.
Also, since PRC is no longer active nor canon, can Yun Long be added to the list?

Supposed to doesn't matter - they have never raced in canon, so essentially they don't exist. Yun Long actually managed to do a race before her job got canned, so she is eligible. The rest aren't. This isn't a new driver factory.

I'm blocking this attempt. You can't hog the two best drivers in the series to yourself. Some common sense will prevail. Choose a different driver for the #4.

Unfortunately, Scuderia Vittore beat you to the services of Steve Mackintosh, so you'll have to choose a replacement for the #94 car.

Hydook Racing set to comeback in 2017
What seemed to be merely a rumor now becomes a fact - Hydook Racing is on its way back to the races, with a reborn team entering the 2017 Toyota Rejects Racing Series.
"We are so excited to finally get things underway after two years of absence", says Mirko Bosevic, whose retirement from racing let him focus more on putting the Croatian outfit back on wheels. "This new racing series is a fresh start for us, just like we did back in 2014 with F2RWRS".
Two racing drivers are confirmed to race in Hydook colors are Ivan Lanin and Phil McCracken.

So if a driver never attempted to start a canon race he/she doesn't exist? Fine, although you should know that Yun Long is male, actually. Also, is Kim-Lee Wang eligible for the list? (Not sure if I still have the DEC)
