It sounds worse now. That's even at low speed. It sounds too artificial.
When can the FIA get the message to just bathplug off?
When will butthurt F1 fans stop bitching?
Or, more relevant of a rant regarding today's Formula 1:
Why can't Jean Todt keep stopping cost cap plans when they're obviously in much need? Obviously his work at Ferrari has deluded him a lot. So much for that...

It's not Jean Todt that's blocking them, it's the Strategy Group (McLaren, Ferrari, Red Bull, Lotus, Williams, and Mercedes) and Bernie that are stopping the cost cut plans.

This could be the beginning of Stupid-Trumpet-Exhausts-To-Appease-Stupid-People-Gate...
At least Merc were trying something out for the good of the fans (whether the fans are right or not is a different matter). Nice to see one team try something that isnt an arodynamic update - trumpets are far more fun!

Anyone else think that Mercedes made it as visually unappealing as possible, seeing as they're the ones with most to lose if the regulations were changed?

Im not sure if you could make any attachment with that specific job to do look any different. As a concept the whole thing sounds like a late April Fools joke. At our expense. Again.
It is, however, incredibly Rejectful and part of me hopes they do make it part of the regulations only bigger. And they can name it the Make-Dur-Brum-Brum-Go-Louder-Thingy.
Anyway, I think it's truly idiotic to delete some memorial corner names at the A1 Ring... and give them bathplug sponsorship names. Especially because the Gerhard Berger kurve is now history.
But Bernie will like this.. history going down the drain and such.
Why is it that every time I see someone whining about the current state of F1 its usually an American?
This is not intended as a direct shot at our American friends, I'm just wondering if its tied into the rise and fall of Indycar, and the fact that you did for a while have a viable alternate so you don't look at F1 through the same lense as some of us do?

I seriously hope UKIP won't get a bigger foothold. (Sorry Ataxia ) I am planning to move to the UK, and if they block off migrants from the EU (you can't even say I have language issues; I got a C TELC certificate 9 years ago and I have a BA degree as well), I'd be royally screwed.
Different topic, because I don't want to rant about it much myself either... Why do I have a feeling that we will lose two teams at the end of 2014, with Bernie going to say stupid things after their fold? (Sauber and Caterham)

Woah, what? Since when did I ever support UKIP?

I just mentioned you because of the smiley. I should have stated that in the first place.
Oh right, I see...I was all ready to get offended haha!

You're right - maybe 7th (at best; the Mercedes trio of SFI-McLaren-Williams are way too ahead now) won't help their financial status, and even for that place they have to fight with STR...

I think that even if they grab a few points the team seems unstable to the point of disintegrating anyway.
True. This will throw up some moves in the drivers market - Grosjean is plonking that car where it doesn't belong, and even before this, he outdrove the E22. This simply can't be overlooked by other teams. I'm not sure if we see 22 cars on the grid next year. Even if Kolles comes back and Haas somehow gets a 2015 entry together, there's the chance of losing three teams, including two oldtimers... (because despite the ownership changes in both Sauber and Enstone, they both have been on the grid for at least 2 decades...)
Personally I wont be sad to see the back of Maldonado if Lotus does go belly up. He just appears shockingly bad, and not in a good Rejectful way either. Its frustrating as that win in Spain, despite being obviously a fluke, still required some semblance of ability to acheive. Ability that now seems to have evaporated.
Grosjean however is a shoe-in to replace Raikkonen at Ferrari next year.
