-- Positives --
Felipe Massa - battled heroically against Alonso and was rewarded with the win.

Williams-Mercedes - make a giant leap towards the world constructor's championship.

Jenson Button - just when you thought Red Bull were finished, they strike back and earn Button INFINITE IMPROBABILITY DRIVE OF THE RACE .

Vitaly Petrov - last-lap retirement is disappointing for the Russian driver, who had an impressive race.

-- Negatives --
Sauber-Mercedes - miserable strategy left them with less points than they could and should have.

Caterham-Peugeot - miserable run by the green club.

Ferrari - yet again, they (almost) lost ground to their McLaren customers.

James James Davies - was fast when he needed to be and went on to dominate the race.

Lewis Hamilton - grabbing vital points for Stefan after a miserable early part of the race: INFINITE IMPROBABILITY DRIVE OF THE RACE!

-- Negatives --

Daniil Kwjat - not better today, even though his result may make it seem that way.

-- Positives --
Dave Cassidy - has finally conquered all of his bad luck and wins for the first time in his career, that earns him the INFINITE IMPROBABILITY DRIVE OF THE RACE!

Jeroen Krautmeir - went ahead and grabbed a second place, that will help Mercedes.

Jenson Button - he is Red Bull's most valueable asset at the moment and made the Korean engine supplier proud.

Lewis Hamilton - got caught out by the superior cars around him, but he had a great race even if it only ends with 9th place.

Sergio Pérez - went unrewarded, but he proves he is now the man at McLaren.

-- Negatives --
James James Davies - you know you are lucky if even a miserable race like this hardly hurts his WDC lead.

Williams-Mercedes - miserable pitstop really hurt Alonso's chances.

Mahindra-Mercedes - their car was just not fast enough to contend for points.

Alex Lynn - just why he is performing so poorly today, nobody understands.

Nico Rosberg - he just cannot afford a mistake like that in this situation, which is why he is declared REJECT OF THE RACE!

#77 - Sebastian Vettel - 5

-- Positives --
Fernando Alonso - after taking the lead at the first round of pitstops, he destroyed the competition.

Felipe Massa - the only one who was capable of challenging the mighty Alonso, if only for a short period.

Vitaly Petrov - got back to form and showed that he can be outright better than the reigning world champions over a whole weekend.

Jean-Éric Vergne - really turned fortunes around for Mahindra after the last race, earning INFINITE IMPROBABILITY DRIVE OF THE RACE in the process.

Sergio Pérez - another point for McLaren, any one of these is valueable.

-- Negatives --

Valterri Bottas - avoidable mistakes hurt his team and himself.

Hyundai - having an engine failure at your home race is never looking great.

Daniil Kwjat - REJECT OF THE RACE for first breaking off your front wing, then spinning and then retiring due to an oil leak.

Romain Grosjean - taking out a title contender and then retiring is bad for business.

#73 - Jeroen Krautmeir - 17
#74 - Felipe Massa - 10
#77 - Sebastian Vettel - 5

-- Positives --
Jeroen Krautmeir - dominated the race and deserves the win.

Brabham-Mercedes - they help their lead driver get closer to the title and keep the WCC alive.

Matthieu Vaxiviere - even though he could not beat the Brabhams, his run is still worthy of a Peugeot works driver.

James Hinchcliffe - INFINITE IMPROBABILITY DRIVE OF THE RACE since he got lucky a bit, but mostly fought for points on merit.

Bruno Senna - makes the decision by Red Bull to put him in their cars seem like a good one.

-- Negatives --
Romain Grosjean - silly error at the start ruined his race.

Alexandre Prémat - moving out the way of the leaders is a good thing, but not when you do it by turning your car around.

Caterham-Peugeot - after Button was out, they had a chance of getting closer to Red Bull, but lack of reliability and Cassidy put an end to that.

Williams-Mercedes - drivers running into each other and spinning out of the race gets you REJECT OF THE RACE.

Felipe Massa - his remote WDC chances die with errors like the one he had today.

-- Positives --
Fernando Alonso - his championship challenge is still alive, can he grab the big one in Singapore?

Vitaly Petrov - amazing run for the Russian, he is now getting all the points he missed out earlier in the year.

Jeroen Krautmeir - put not a single foot wrong after his miserable qualifying, making up twenty places and earning INFINITE IMPROBABILITY DRIVE OF THE RACE

Caterham-Peugeot - their drivers sure have not given up on P6 in the teams' championship.

Damon Cannon - he was the one to get the struggling Ferrari into the points.

-- Negatives --
Stefan-Mercedes - silly errors from both drivers, that's not best for business.

Evgeny Restov - normally, he is great in this kind of chaos - why wasn't he today?

Sergio Pérez - that's a REJECT OF THE RACE award for the Mexican, he was a real tool out there.

Felipe Nasr - only Prémat's engine failure allowed Felipe to be classified ahead of his team mate.

James James Davies - even before his engine fell apart, he was not competitive due to sloppy driving.

#74 - Felipe Massa - 10
#77 - Sebastian Vettel - 5
#78 - Sergio Pérez - 9

-- Positives --
Jenson Button - heroic drive to give Red Bull their second win of the year and achieve the INFINITE IMPROBABILITY DRIVE OF THE RACE

Dave Cassidy - he sure made Button work for his money.

Lewis Hamilton - was not able to remove Alonso from the podium, but he still had an amazing run.

James James Davies - and he is now officialy a two-time world champion.

Matthieu Vaxivière - was without shenanigans significantly faster than his team mate.

-- Negatives --
Nico Rosberg - lost his chance at the world title and has noone to blame but himself, he must live with the sadness of having lost a world title.

Mercedes - this was not good enough, they want to beat Sauber but cannot do so with this type of performance.

Romain Grosjean - his team must find out what went wrong for him today.

Caterham-Peugeot - not a very glorious run for the green boys.

Bruno Senna - being P18 on "merit" whilst your team mate wins the race, that's a REJECT OF THE RACE if I've ever seen one.

#73 - Jeroen Krautmeir - 17
#74 - Felipe Massa - 10
#77 - Sebastian Vettel - 5
#78 - Sergio Pérez - 9

-- Positives --
Romain Grosjean - found back to old strength in race two.

Pedro de la Rosa - if this proves to be his final F1 race, he can be leaving with his head held high.

Jenson Button - followed up on his win with a nice comeback drive after a questionable qualifying.

Valtteri Bottas - getting to P7 from P15 is impressive, setting a lap record and getting Mahindra's first FLAP makes it an INFINITE IMPROBABILITY DRIVE OF THE RACE.

Evgeny Restov - missing out on that final point after a desperation move by Hamilton symbolises Ferrari's whole season, but he still had a great race.

-- Negatives --
Jeroen Krautmeir - his team mate had his gearbox give up on him, he has no excuse for not scoring more points.

Daniil Kwjat - wanting your team mate to look good does not mean you have to be extremely poor.

Sebastién Bourdais - did not recover at all after his engine-related grid penalty and then spun out like an amateur, making him the REJECT OF THE RACE.

James James Davies - well, as confirmed champion you can afford to have a mediocre race with a disappointing retirement.

Alexandre Prémat - being taken out by your team mate at the start is not how you want to finish the season.

Dave Cassidy wrote:Normally I'd be pretty pissed with a pole and two seconds, but I already won a race, so I ain't bothered. It's been a great year for me and the team here - sure, we didn't get a title, but everyone here has worked their ass off to get the results that we have, and I think we can be pleased with our year regardless. I wanna thank everyone here at Sauber, they've all done a fantastic job in helping me get used to racing F1 so fast - hell, even Seb provided a good benchmark to work towards. Looking forward to next year now. :)
Sebastian Vettel wrote:If I was good at losing I wouldn't be in Formula 1.
Everything's great.
I'm not surprised about anything.
