F1Rejects.com Rally Championship
F1Rejects.com Rally Championship
One cold night in Maranello, a man whom very little is known about devised a new rally championship, one driven by pure passion for racing and without the cost required to compete in the WRC. A championship featuring some of the world's most talented rally drivers, in events held around the world. Fortunately this man, as mysterious as his identity may be, had the resources and dedication to make his idea a reality. And thus, the F1Rejects.com Rally Championship was born.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Entry Form
To compete in the F1Rejects.com World Rally Championship, fill out the entry form below.
Driver Name:
Driver Nationality:
Co-Driver Name:
Co-Driver Nationality:
Car Model: (try to choose something rejectful... think Lada or Fiat, not-even-slightly-rejectful cars are strictly prohibited)
Car Number: (2 to 99)
------------------------------
Gravel: (explained in detail below)
Tarmac: (explained in detail below)
Snow: (explained in detail below)
Concentration: (explained in detail below)
Co-Driver: (explained in detail below)
The deadline to sign up for this series is September 14th, or when the cap of 32 entries is achieved.
2. Driver Ratings
As you probably noticed, the entry form has a line for "Gravel", "Tarmac", "Snow", "Concentration", and "Co-Driver". These represent various attributes that can affect your driver's stage times in several ways. Below is a guide explaining each attribute in detail.
Gravel - A higher number here results in a driver with increased ability to navigate gravel stages, thus reducing times and leading to better results in rallies held primarily on gravel.
Tarmac - A higher number here results in a driver with increased ability to navigate tarmac stages, thus reducing times and leading to better results in rallies held primarily on tarmac.
Snow - A higher number here results in a driver with increased ability to navigate snow stages, thus reducing times and leading to better results in rallies held primarily on snow.
Concentration - An increased value in the concentration attribute results in a driver who is less likely to make a mistake and crash.
Co-Driver - A better co-driver acts as a multiplier for all of the other attributes, and has a larger effect in long stages.
You start off with 50 points to spend on these attributes, you can allocate no less than 5 and no more than 15 points to any attribute.
3. Rally Format
Each rally will be held over a predetermined amount of Special Stages, with the overall results being determined based on total time through all of the Special Stages, just like in a typical rally. If a driver retires from a stage (e.g. due to a crash), their recorded time for that stage will be 200% of the stage winner's time.
4. Points System
The overall top six at the end of each rally will be awarded points on a 9-6-4-3-2-1 scale. In addition, the winner of each stage receives one bonus point.
5. Calendar
1 - RejectRally New Zealand - 10 Gravel Stages
2 - RejectRally Australia - 13 Gravel Stages
3 - RejectRally Finland - 8 Snow Stages - 2 Tarmac Stages
4 - RejectRally Sweden - 10 Snow Stages
5 - RejectRally Hungary - 10 Tarmac Stages
6 - RejectRally Germany - 10 Tarmac Stages
7 - RejectRally Japan - 5 Tarmac Stages - 5 Gravel Stages
8 - RejectRally England - 9 Gravel Stages
9 - RejectRally Spain - 10 Tarmac Stages
10 - RejectRally Italy - 10 Gravel Stages - 4 Tarmac Stages
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I've searched the forums for some sort of rally/WRC series, I hope I'm not missing anything.
Entry List: Spreadsheet containing list of entrants will be posted shortly.

Some say he plans to put an S921 on the Goodwood 2012 run, and that he DOES know what Deletraz is doing.
All we know is...he's called Perry McCarthy!
...we'll never see an S921 at Goodwood, will we?

Mami Tokkinen? Please, I hate to be annoying but is there any way you could change it? I can see what you're trying to achieve with that name but I prefer to see realistic Finnish names in the PMMF.
Also, can I reserve a spot? I'm currently on the phone so filling forms is a bit too cumbersome, but will get on a proper computer within the next 14 hours.

Re: F1Rejects.com Rally Championship
Your distribution is a little wrong. You can only allot a minimum of 5 or a maximum of 15 points to any one stat.
Some say he plans to put an S921 on the Goodwood 2012 run, and that he DOES know what Deletraz is doing.
All we know is...he's called Perry McCarthy!
...we'll never see an S921 at Goodwood, will we?

Named after two of Japan's most famous Formula One drivers (after Cowboyashi, of course. But they were born before his first F1 race!), the two brothers of Matsuo Tadayoshi are ready to roll... literally
