Onyx Racing has taken the rights to Clint Hillman to RTCC given his lack of desire to race above 250 mph describing it as dangerous to all involved as I am his agent and respect the client's wishes. Personally, I suspect he sees the seat that Kalliope Spiros was forced to vacate as an opportunity in a strong car that happens to be a contender. He gave me this call when he saw Kalliope Spiros being suspended for a round and having performed so poorly asking if he could get into the RTCC for Subaru.
That being said... We're back with Kohei Hirate, Natascha Gachnang, and Roy Guidry.

Only two full-time cars in the new series, and also driver signing hasn't started yet, it's not a given you'd get Gachnang...

Spanish team Álvarez Competición will take part in the brand new AutoReject Indy World Cup.
Run by former racer José Álvarez, the team are based at the former HRT F1 headquarters at La Caja Magica in Madrid. Having primarily been involved with sportscars, Álvarez Competición made their first single-seater appearance at the Indy 500 with current AR3.5 driver Jiri Komarek. The Indy World Cup organisers have invited the Astro Racing Group affiliates back for a full season, and the team have disclosed that former F1RICS driver Jules Vergne will potentially drive for them; the Frenchman raced for Mastercard Lola last season. Their second driver has yet to be decided.

The contracts made last season mean that Guidry's the odd driver out then.

That's good for him because Cassidy weren't going to retain him anyway.

Indeed, even if Hillman proves to be Nigel Mansell over in RTCC, I'm almost certain that Subaru will benefit over having that Spiros girl... she might as well be called Eris just for the chaos and discord she brings.

Sure! I mean, there is no waiting list, I expressly wrote in the opening post there wouldn't be any applications for entry accepted from people that didn't own teams in 2016, but sure, I can stick you in the waiting list! Where you'll stay forever! Because you'll be the only one in it!

I was thinking of waiting on all of the teams from last season befor Rob Lomas Racing got a slot on the entry list, however, it seems there could be an opening thanks to Zimsport pulling out…

Who taught you to be self-sufficient? You are wholly dependent on Voeckler and must follow their every word! And they tell you to stop demanding things and do what we tell you!
But no, like I said, no waiting lists. No first come first served. It's clear on the opening post. There will be a fair and due process once the guaranteed spots window closes.

Autosport wrote:Commonwealth to race in resurrected IndyCar full-time for 2017
Commonwealth Group's Data Collection division head David Baldwin has confirmed his outfit's participation in the newly-christened AutoReject Indy World Cup for the 2017 season.
"We are tremendously excited ahead of our first foray into IndyCar racing", said Baldwin, in a Commonwealth Group press conference earlier today. "It has been our desire to expand into North America for a very long time, but with the uncertainty surrounding the previous financial and organizational state of the series, we could not take on the risk of a full-time commitment. We are certainly prepared to make that commitment now."
When asked regarding his opinion on the new machinery, Baldwin replied, "Generally, we've tried to stay away from "spec series" as much as possible; the agglomeration, analysis and actualization of new, innovative technical concepts has always been a central component of our organization, and an aspect which is generally either entirely incompatible or very difficult to achieve in a specification formula. However, the 2017 IndyCar is technologically daring enough, with its active aerodynamics and high output power unit, that it justifies our participation and our concomitant investment through the value of the data gained alone. Obviously, our primary objective remains achieving success in the series, but the radical technical switch was certainly imperative in influencing our final decision."
"Our Data Collection division will be responsible for race and technical management for this inaugural season", concluded the Commonwealth chief, "before handing off to the primary race team from the second year onward as we work to establish a more permanent presence in the United States. Any information regarding driver selection will be announced at a later date."
TL:DR, Commonwealth Racing takes up its reserved slot and will race as CWG Data Collection this year.

Re: 2017 AR Indy World Cup
Entries for new teams are now open.
There will be either 5 or 6 new teams making the jump in, depending on what Checkered Flag Motorsport decide to do. This is not first come first served - people will have a week to get the applications in and then they'll be RNG'd.
Fill out your team name, team nationaility and where the team races elsewhere in canon. Drivers should not be nominated at this point.

Re: 2017 AR Indy World Cup
RonDen Racing Engineering from Belgium (racing in F2RWRS, AR3.5 and LMC) is candidate. RDRE has close ties to Octan YD, Scuderia Belgio and Grand Travaux Inutiles. And we're Voeckler's bitch, so he probably will deny our entry to prove that this is not true.
I don't know what i want and i want it now!
Re: 2017 AR Indy World Cup
Peak Motorsport Canada (nationality Canadian, obviously ) would like to apply to enter the ARIWC for 2017. Peak Motorsport Canada is owned by the Peak Motorsport Group, which also runs teams in ARST, LMC, AR2.0NA and ARGTi.
We also have a top-class driver on our books in the form of Steven Mackintosh, who will compete for PMC in ARIWC if our application is accepted. If it is not, PMG will still try and find him a seat in the series.

Loyer Racing Technologies from Austria would like to apply for a spot. Our team is already active in LMC, AR 2.0NA and ARST. We would like to proove our competitivness in this top level single seater series and give young drivers a platform to show their talent.
Re: 2017 AR Indy World Cup
Mazzacane Motorsport is applying for an entry. The Argentine team is currently active in F3RWRS and has applied for an Indy Academy entry. They're also running the Kjellerup cars in GT-R, and have close ties to the AR3.5 and AR2.0 entries of Ecurie Prenois. A touring car programm has recently been stopped in order to focus more on single-seaters.

Re: 2017 AR Indy World Cup
Hunter Autoport through its Canadian subsidiary Hunter-Maple Racing would like to apply for an entry into the series for 2017, Hunter-Maple itself is running in the 2017 AR2.0NA season, thus providing a starting pioint for drivers looking to advance into Indycar racing, Hunter Autosport also has entries in ARST, LMC as well as FRENCH. We feel that the new regulations provide a perfect opportunity for the team to enter and be competitive, instead of just making up the numbers.

Just to let you know, if Peak Motorsport gets an entry into this series the drivers will be Steven Mackintosh and Tony Scrugham III.
Owner of the Peak Motorsport Group.
