Epic about Bern, he won't regret the decision. And Tommy Archer is 60? Really? I mean, I remember watching him throw Vipers around when I was in High School, and that was....oh wait, that was over 15 years ago. Bathplug, I'm old.
As for another driver, Riccetti Competition offers the seat to Rhys Millen - USA - Tier 2

Re: WSGTM(Season 1) - driver signing - round one up!
As much as I'd like to run with Andre Lotterer, it simply isn't feasible to driver-share the lead works car in such a manner. But we hope he could join us full-time in years to come.
So for now, instead, we will hire Michael Krumm as the lead driver. He won FIA GT for Nissan in 2011, as well as two Super GT titles, so he should be qualified enough as a Tier 1 driver

As you made Krumm already an offer in the first round of bidding, he is yours.

Oh sorry. It looks like i somehow forgot to include his time in the list. I will update this when i'm back at my computer in sunday.
Re: WSGTM(Season 1) - pre season testing and car numbers!
So, i edited the testing post, now with Kovalainen added.
The two Vosprunk cars of Nissany and Wittman got the temporary numbers 70 and 71 assigned.(Can be changed later without problems) I did this in order to run the first race today.
All of the other numbers are no locked until next season.
Qualifying * Top 10 shootout was canceld because of very heavy rainshowers
Weather: Dry
The first ever poleseter in this series is Bernd Mayländer, who took pole in the very last seconds of the session.
Race 44 laps
Weather: Heavy Rain at the start with drying track for the 2nd half of the race.
FL: Satoshi Motoyama 1:34.273
After race report:
Driver #31, Mark Shulzjitskiy, has recieved a 2 place grid penalty after causing a collision at Turn 1. This penalty has to be served at the next event.
ROTR: Honda! Despite failing to field more than one car they are the only manufacturer which didn't score points at the first race, even though they didn't had a technical issue on the car.
DOTR: Satoshi Motoyama! Clearly the driver with the best performance on a drying track. If the rain had stoped earlier he would have won it.

Disappointed Krumm threw it off the road, but overall Nissan had a good start. Heck of a drive from Satoshi!

Before i forget it: upgrades are possible at any time during the season. If you have any questions about it feel free to ask.

Whats the pricing structure, I doubt I can afford it, with just $220k left, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

The pricing structure is as follows:
Tier 1 50k
Tier 2 100k
Tier 3 150k
One upgrade is for ONE car and ONE stat of it.
As a reminder, the stats are:
Chassis weight
downforce
top speed
Chassis reliability
Engine weight
power
fuel consumption
engine reliabilty

Re: WSGTM(Season 1) - Round 1 up!
Great start for Vitaly, the Dodge is looking seriously good, shame about Timo being taking out. We would like a Tier 3 chassis weight reduction on each car to try and keep this form going
Alexander Wurz is timeless and endless and eternal.

Re: WSGTM(Season 1) - Round 2 up!
All four GT-Rs make the Top 10 shootout, and the net result is 6th/7th/DNF/DNF? Poor show. Give me the name of the chap in charge of gearboxes at NISMO so he can be buried six feet under for embarrassing the Nissan name.

YUSSS! Whincup you legend! Good finish from Ekstrom too! Gonna be a good season boys...
