Threw this track together in Brisbane for the design challenge, but it ended up being too long to make the cut.

I don't know how good the racing there would be, but an absolutely stunning backdrop for a race there!

Decided to make another hand-drawn racetrack to share. Made some changes from the original product though on advice by Klon (shown by the Red Texta on the first oval section and the original tunnel.

My proposal for Buenos Aires: http://www.gmap-pedometer.com?r=6681062

I changed all track, and had an equilibrium between speed and cornering.

The inside part remains for other competitions, but, for example, the Ascari Chicane changes to a right-corner.

The Arena area (the old F1 layout) add a new layout, and add a better outside-asphalted green surface (to avoid confusions with the layouts), a new main tribune and boxes, and, in the Turismo-Carretera long layout, a few corners that reminds Maggots-beckets and chapel corners from Silverstone and the esses from Suzuka and Austin.

I changed the Curvón layout putting a chicane for enlarge the outside escape, because in the rear part exists an open road, and make the track more secure.

I'm thinking to erase the first chicane in the long track to make a faster track.

Street circuit in Paris, because what's more fun than a 4.3 mile circuit through a forest, with 4 flat out sections of over 1000m each?

There's also space for a pit area too. Someone tell Bernie the French GP is back on! :)

Threw this track together in Brisbane for the design challenge, but it ended up being too long to make the cut.

I just saw this - it looks pretty good, actually, as there are enough elevation changes to make the straight bits and 90-degree corners more interesting than they might appear at first glance. I would have been tempted to bend the rules for this one as my old office overlooked the Mary St-George St corner and I would have had a great view all the way up the Mary St straight without leaving my desk! :)

I won anyway, so it makes very little difference :P

A street circuit in Malta. Similar to Monaco, except it's faster, longer, and instead of on the coast of the Mediterranean, it's in the middle of it.

http://www.mappedometer.com/?maproute=455063

The chicane near the Vilhena garden would probably need some redesigning, as there is next to no runoff there. At first, I thought that the chicanes near the Balbi station were unneeded, I added them after seeing that it wouldn't end well having a near 1.5km run with no runoff at the end. The loop at the southern end of the course can be replaced by a hairpin before it, and is probably better off for the design, as there will actually be some runoff and it's easier to overtake there.

The pits/paddock section would most likely be around the Park & Ride bus thing.

I've almost made 2 similar designs in Gibraltar.
Proposal 1: http://www.mappedometer.com/?maproute=454393
Proposal 2: http://www.mappedometer.com/?maproute=454401

The first design has a simple layout on the airport, and a more twisty, but fast design on it's streets.
The second design doesn't have the overpass featured in the first design, and also has a more twisty design on the runway.

The paddock and main straight are where the route starts/finishes.

Lenght: 6,1 km
Location: Situated in a valley about 30 km outside Rijeka in Croatia.

The circuit is quite a fast circuit with Silverstone influences and has 14 corners with elevation changes.

The Alexander Wurz Racetrack on Socotra Island. Made with inspiration from Jocke's Wurz Conspiracy. The circuit has 10, 4, and 9 corners in each sector, respectively.

EDIT: Might post v2.0 of the Mighty Text Wall of racetracks later in the month.
