Day 1: Hiroaki Ishiura Day 2: Kamui Kobayashi Day 3: Kazuki Nakajima
Thailand
Day 1: Tin Sritrai Day 2: Tor Graves Day 3: Alexander Albon
Lebanon
Day 1: Noel Jammal Day 2: Graham Rahal (He did race for A1 Team Lebanon…if not allowed, I'll have Jammal run another day) Day 3: Tani Hanna
I'll take Indonesia in case someone still wants to enter with India.
Indonesia
Day 1-3: Ananda Mikola (cause why not?)
I believe his mother was of Lebanese descent but since Rahal only has American citizenship he can only race for the United States in this version of the series.

Alright then, Noel Jammal for day 2 it is.
My friend's USB drive spoiled, spilled tea on her laptop and had a bird poo in her hand.

For test drivers:
Italy: Alex Zanardi Israel: Chanoch Nissany San Marino: Giancarlo Fisicella Wales: Elfyn Evans
Fisichella as far as I'm aware has never been associated with San Marino so he is ineligible. If you are struggling there is a list of drivers here. https://www.driverdb.com/countries/san-marino/
I may be wrong but Nissany and Zanardi I think are officially retired from racing now.
I guess I'll take Andrea Belluzi for San Marino then.
Also not sure about Nissany, but Zanardi is 100% NOT retired. He is supposedly going to run the 500 this year, in addition to his touring car dates.

Nissany I think still races karts but nothing with cars since around his infamous Minardi Friday driver stint. If you want Israel to be anywhere other than last at any point I'd recommend using his son instead. I will remind you these tests will all contribute to deciding which level all nations will compete in for 2016 so if you want to race where your nation deserves to be then I wouldn't take you driver choice lightly.

That's hardly in the spirit of the forum. But yes, I suppose it would make more sense to run Nissany Jr.

EDIT: Just re-read the first post and realised "no known retired drivers", and Susie Wolff is listed. And McNish, I suspect too, is retired properly. So may have to rethink that... And some of the other drivers are not listed as having raced for a while, not sure if they are 'retired' or not. Nigel Mansell hasn't officially confirmed his retirement, has he?

By the looks of it, there seems one more spot for India, Chile + third country. In which case i'd like to choose Bulgaria. Perhaps not but Mansell is above the age of 60 now which renders him ineligible.
Yes both Wolff and McNish are officially retired. McNish retired after 2013 so you will have to choose other drivers. In fact it occurs to me that now McNish, Franchitti and Coulthard are retired from racing there are very few high profile Scots now. Other than Di Resta I'd say Marino Franchitti and Ryan Dalziel are your best bets.
Adam Carroll is Northern Irish so he can only race for them so you'll have to pick a different driver for England on Day 1.
There are a few other drivers chosen by others that haven't raced for a while. Depending on age I'll set a threshold of about 3-5 years since last race unless they have an officially announced retirement. Ananda Mikola for Indonesia is a bit borderline since its not entirely clear when he last raced.

Sorry Salazar may be still active but I'm afraid he is 61 which puts him above the age limit for the series.
I'm a little curious how the rankings will work for the test days to sort the nations into divisions. Will the test days have points from first to last? Or will it go on cumulative time across each test?
Also, I might have missed this somewhere, but how many cars will each nation be running during races? I'm guessing two?

It will work by average position for each day. Top 26 at the end of the four venues make up A1, next 26 make up A2 and the rest make up A3. As with the original version, each nation gets a single car per race but can switch driver each race if they want to.

Oh wow, that makes testing super important, especially as it's per day. Understood!
OK, editing my drivers for the tests, because I was a slight numpty.

Only waiting on Normal32 and RejectDom's picks and then we are all set with 4 days to spare.
In case anyone missed it because it is tricky to see because of the length of the name, Northern Ireland is still avaliable as the only non Tier 3 nation left.
Day 1: Brendon Hartley Day 2: Scott Dixon Day 3: Shane van Gisbergen
The Philippines
Day 1: Michele Bumgarner Day 2: Gaby Dela Merced Day 3: Marlon Stöckinger
Belarus
Day 1: Dmitry Suranovich Day 2: Alexander Talkanitsa Jr. Day 3: Yury Krauchuk
Possible I'll have limited internet access for the next 2 weeks, so just in case my plans for the 2nd test are as above, except Mitch Evans will replace whoever was lowest in the standings for New Zealand after the first test.
While it seems in somewhat poor taste to mention, this game (and that A1GP revival that is totally happening every year) could have been oh so different. Why watching the 2004 season review last night, they mention that Michael Schumacher (and Jean Todt) are official ambassadors of San Marino. I looked it up, and its true!
San Marino could have had a hellva team back in the A1 heyday.

I'll have Martin Scuncio replace him then. It's pretty much a gamble because i haven't heared of any of those Chilean drivers. I'd like to request running a fourth team: Republic of China a.k.a. Taiwan. Day 1: Johnson Huang Day 2: Kevin Chen Day 3: George Chou

I did think of him, and I may yet consider him if di Resta is utterly hopeless, BUT di Resta does have single-seater experience alongside his DTM racing...

Sorry Klon, I've just realized that Heidfeld should be on the injured list due to his ligament injury that kept him out of the WEC this weekend. He should be able to drive again by next month but in the mean time you'll need to choose someone else for Day 3.
