Not sure if I've succeeded from a safety perspective. The section from 9-10 km has a lot of blind entries and little to no run-off without cutting down some of the foliage. The flat-out sections are almost at the maximum allowed length, the roads are relatively narrow - wider than Monaco - but still not particularly wide. Still, it's better than my original idea: The entire island of Sicily :P

This is my offering. Yes, it looks a whole lot like a track I've entered before, but there's one difference: I've kept the roundabouts as they are to make sure that no acceleration zone is longer than 5.5km. The length? 21km.

I wanted to do a full ranking, but every track failed at least one of the criteria. However, one circuit was triangular enough, had space for the paddock and runoff, and looked fun to drive. So despite the two-lane roads, I'm giving this one to Simtek.

Hooray, I guess? Right then, next challenge.

You all know the Autodromo di Pergusa, right? Now, what is one of the stand-out features of the track? I'm not talking about the layout itself but the landscape. That's right, it surrounds a lake, very good! I think you can see where I'm getting at with this now.

Your challenge is to design a track that surrounds a lake. And yes, there's a limit of, let's say 10 km. It can be existing roads or it can be totally original, or a mixture of both.

Good luck!

Your Writing Style Is Very Easy To Make Fun Of. I Think I Will Do It By Imitating It (Yes I Know Your Profile Says You're 13 And The Internet Has Made It Too Easy For Teenagers To Do Something Dumb And Never Live It Down But You Should Have Better Grammar Than This By Now) As For Your Track Well It Seems Decent But To Go Into Too Much Detail Would Be Really Weird Since I'm Not The Judge Note : I Was Going To Not Do This because It Seemed Mean If Anyone Suggests Something More Polite Yet Still As Entertaining That Will Be Followed

I didnt think that my track design was that good but any how.

In the vast majority of challenges the designer gets to choose where they design the track, but what if you dont get to choose.

To create you track you must type in the search function of the programme you use. The first name of any driver that has started an F1 race since 2000, and it should take you a specific street in a specific town. Your track must go through this street. Other then that it may not be longer then 7KM. and dont knock down buildings

Some names might take you to the Middle of Nowhere if it does try another name.

My entry's in the mail.

Interesting fact: There are two streets in Havana called Enrique and Fernando. Fernando Alonso and Enrique Bernoldi both débuted in F1 in 2001, the year after Alex Wurz's last season at Benetton. Just saying.

I picked André: http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=6783806

You didn't specify anything other than it has to go through that street and be <7 km, so I cut down a bunch of trees explicitly marked as a nature preserve and went through a Home Depot parking lot.

The Dutch just-not-a-reject Carel Godin de Beaufort is honoured with this track. His name sounds French and that is exactly where it took me: to the French village of Carel, where the streets are named Carel and Carel's Mill (Moulin de Carel). I made a track that follows the local river, because what flows nicer than a river?

When we did the triangle design track a few weeks ago I had great misplaced fun in redesigning the Adelaide street circuit as if it were originally designed in the 1960s (http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=6775799).

Your challenge is to redesign an F1 circuit as if the design trends of the 60s still applied today. Obviously a street circuit will work best for this, however I'm happy for you to take a purpose-built track and utilise surrounding roads etc. If you manage to retain the iconic corners of the existing track I'll be very happy.

Some quick rules:
1) Don't knock down any buildings, but feel free to bulldoze as many parks and trees as you like - there was no ecology movement in the 60s!
2) Don't go over 30km
3) Track must have hosted at least one F1 race

Andorra's Pas de la Casa, the home of the Principality's only permanent racetrack, which is bypassed by this rather crazy road circuit that has 400 metres of elevation changes and a tunnel measuring about 3 km. Tunnels of this length weren't exactly a common feature of old school circuits, but if you go off on any of these bends, well...

Oh, and there's a short excursion into French territory, not that it's a big issue seeing as the French president is also the co-prince of Andorra.
