2019 Asian F4- Shanghai Up! Sung-Tae Champion!
As promised, the entry-level, FIA-sanctioned, Asia-based series you've all been waiting for:
FIA Asian F4 Championship
This series is unsurprisingly rather similar to the other GP2-based F4 series; The weekends will be run as double-headers, with two quali sessions (with a 28-car field, two won't qualify per race) and races, while the points system, injury rulings and penalty points while be run identically to Simtek's Anglo-Irish series in 2019.
Calendar
1. Okayama - 2/3 March - Supporting F1
2. Sepang - 6th/7th April - Supporting PES
3. Sentul - 26th/27th April - Supporting ANUS/ 'FNippon'
4. Suzuka - 18th/19th May - Supporting PES
5. Autopolis - 8th/9th June - Supporting ANUS/'FNippon' & PES
6. Motegi (Oval) - 13th/14th July - Supporting ANUS/'FNippon' & PES
7. Motegi (Road) - September 21th/22th - Supporting ANUS/'FNippon' & PES
8. Sugo - 5th/6th October - Supporting ANUS/PES
9. Marina Bay - 2rd/3rd November - Supporting F1
10. Shanghai - 16th/17th November- Supporting F1
The calender for 2019 is formed of ten races based across nine different circuits across Asia, all of them supporting larger events.
Cars:
All 14 teams will be running Dome F110 F4 chassis with 1.6L TOM's Toyota engines, with no setup variation
Drivers:
Again as per usual, drivers must have no experience above F4 level and be aged 15-18 as of 01/01/19. Said drivers would also preferably be from Asian or Australasian countries.
Teams:
There will be 14 teams in the series, each fielding two cars. These teams must be based in Asia or failing that, Oceania (as there is no "Tasman F4" yet), although entries based in the former continent will be preferred in the case of over-subscription.

If anyone is looking for some Jagonya Ayam love, Jordan Raharjo (INA, 4/1/2004) is available for a seat. KFC Indonesia and Pertamina are the obvious backers here.

Eastern Racing Alliance today became the first team to complete their Asian Formula 4 line-up by signing promising Indonesian Jordan Raharjo. Despite bringing backing from KFC Indonesia and Pertamina, it's his speed that has impressed ERA, despite the fact he will turn 15 in January. He joins team-mate Hong Konger Tony Wai-leuk.
Consider him signed!

Re: 2019 Asian F4- Enter Now!
That filled up quickly!
I just need to go through a few things I forgot in the first post, and sort out a couple of issues:
1. Number Clashes: #21/#22 are currently allocated to three teams, Aspire, Nakamura and Narita (#22 only). As Aspire chose them first, the other two have to choose new numbers (for Nakamura, may I recommend #31/#32?)
2. Liveries: If possible could teams supply their own GP2 liveries (the template is here if you want to start from scratch, otherwise you can just post an old design from another series and I can modify it to fit the carshape). A rough description of the colours/sponsors you want is also acceptable if you have no Photoshop/ MS Paint skills and want me to make a hash of it.
3. Drivers: There are a couple of things I didn't make clear with this; firstly, it would really help if your chosen (fictional) drivers appear in the DEC list and/or the wiki so at the very least I can verify their date of birth to check their eligibility. If they're controlled by another user you will have to discuss this with them.
Also, real drivers our allowed (sorry I forgot to mention it), provided they still meet the age requirements in 2019. "Dragon", Normal32's choice however will be not as he will over 50 by the time the season starts, and Hachiro will be nearly 60! Therefore I'm afraid you'll need to find two new drivers.
I hope this is OK.

Sorry to here that, Normal32; I thought about including a Gentleman's class, but seeing how few entrants there would have been based on the Italian series made me change my mind.

Re: 2019 Asian F4- Prepare Driver Lineups/Liveries - 1 slot
V8Fan12, do you want your new signing Yaname in car #19 or #20? (if you're not fussed, I'll put him driving car #19 on the entry list)

I have verified that both of your drivers are eligible for the 2019 season, and will be added to the entry list. Can I also stress that it would be really helpful if teams provide liveries or at the very least livery ideas soon-ish so the season doesn't stall after the closing date and can start promptly.

Re: 2019 Asian F4- Prepare Driver Lineups/Liveries - 1 slot
I've just noticed that there is a driver clash between Calsonic and Narita. Therefore I'll decide this by RNG, with preference to the former for asking first.
1-60 Calsonic, 61-100 Narita
Result: 36, so Narita will need to find a new driver for car #23

Car #19 is ok!
Thi Nhat will be the driver of the #20

Could someone make me a livery along these lines: http://www.legacydiecast.com/product_images/aa18101.jpg
Red with yellow sidepods and rear wing. You can disregard the dragon on the nose. If possible I'd like an Evergrande Group logo on the sidepod.

- Unfortunately I have too many hobbies, so I only show up here once every 14 months. Still, do not remove me, I like to see the topics.

Could someone please prepare the Easteen Racing Alliance livery with red as the base colour, with white sidepods featuring H.S.B.C. logos.

Could someone make a black and white livery with Asahi logos for Tsujimura?
(I would really like it to have some purple too, but we know how GP2 and that colour don't get along...)

We'll be fine. It's Canon, non Kodak.

Re: 2019 Asian F4- Prepare Driver Lineups/Liveries
Here's the Eastern Racing livery (the preview is below).
I'll keep working on the Dragon and Tsujimura liveries, and to answer John Rafael's question, the carshape is in the "PMMF planning thread" (the top of page 24), although your (rather nice) livery should work with it anyway.
UPDATE: here's the Red Dragon livery
