Hello and welcome to the first season of Porsche Eurocup! Using GTR2, this will be a spec series, with all teams running 390bhp Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (996) machines, at seven events across Europe.

Drivers:
Drivers may be fictional or real-life, with fictional driver signing being conducted by DEC holders and real-life driver signing being conducted by RNG, as usual. Drivers may be of any nationality, with the only restriction being that no Platinum ranked drivers are allowed. These are your ARWS/F1 champions and front runners type drivers, and for more examples look at the Endurance Challenge page on the wiki. The minimum age limit is 18 years old.

Drivers aged 35+ can be eligible for the Gentleman's trophy, a cup for privateers and gentlemen racers (amd gentlewomen). To be entered for the Gentleman's Trophy. your driver must be a Bronze ranked driver, and the intention to enter as a Gentleman must be marked on the entry list.

Teams:
Teams may be fictional or real-life, but must be based somewhere in Europe. 26 full-time cars will feature at every round of the season, with teams being able to enter one or two cars. Each car has one driver. A maximum of 4 part-time cars can join the grid at each event, and the sign-up process for part-time entries will be completed later on. A maximum of one Gentlemen driver may be entered per team, and a maximum of 6 Gentlemen drivers may be entered for each individual season. All entries are first-come, first-served.

Race Calendar
All events will consist of one qualifying session and one 80-85km race. Each event will be supporting a larger event .

Having only just remembered that Marco Bizzarri is committed to a quest into American racing, the second Trueba seat is open again. As I've heard he's currently on the market, we'd like to enquire if Enrico Molinaro would be interested in the seat.

51-year old Erica B. Mancino, who raced touring cars in the late 80's and early 90's, would be interested in a seat for the Gentle(wo)men's Trophy.

This means that Euromotor's bid for Rui Aguas is denied, as a team can only field a maximum of one Gentleman driver.

Re: 2019 Porsche EuroCup - Entries full!

Post by DemocalypseNow »

It should probably be pointed out that Rui Águas is definitely not a gentleman driver. While he does race in the GTE Am class, he does so for the factory AF Corse team, and is one of the pro drivers in that car. Francois Perrodo is the driver who classifies his entry in the Am category.

In reality, Águas is a Gold driver.

As said above, the bid for Aguas will be re-instated if Aguas is rpesented the offer as a Gold tier driver rather than Gentleman.

A&K Motorsport's bid for Ekstrom is denied as he is (just about) a Platinum driver. Howveer, the bid for Dahlgren still stands, as he is a Silver driver.

Ok, Björn Wirdheim will be the 2nd choice if Dahlgren isn't signed
