In one of the more bizzare races that I have heard, Kvyat has finished in 3rd for Russia after Red Bull gave inition of Ricciardo to let Kvyat go. But at the top, Rosberg closed the gap in the nations championship after Germany took the 9 points, to close the gap to only 2 points from the UK.

In a massive twist to the championship, the battle in Hungary has thrown up some surprises for this championship. With Vettel winning the race in Hungary, Germany now take the lead of the championship after Hamilton finished in 6th place which only scores the nation 1 point in the championship. Kvyat finished in 2nd place to give Russia their first podium since Australia 2011. For Verstappen, he was close to giving the Netherlands their first podium since 1994.

For the first time since 2007, a American has joined the driver entry list with Alexander Rossi debuting in Singapore. But that hasn't changed the standings up top with Germany extending to a six point lead after Singapore with Rosberg and Vettel both scoring respectively. While for the United Kingdom, a shocker of a run in Singapore has put them in struggle street with 54 points up for grabs with those two teams left to battle it out for the nation's title.

With Lewis Hamilton winning the Japanese Grand Prix, the gap between the two nations close down to 3 points with the final race of the Asia leg being in Russia. It would be interesting to know what would of happened if these two nations didn't exist with that much of a gap.

With me forgetting about for the last three races, I have to find what is happening to catch up. In Russia, UK leveled the competition back up after winning the race. While Vettel finished in 2nd. With Perez finishing in 3rd place, Mexico jumped France in the rankings to go up to 7th.

In the United States, Verstappen scored Netherlands their first podium since 2000 after finishing in 3rd place. This was after Hamilton won the race and brought the UK back into the lead with four races left. Alexander Rossi put the United States in 9th place at his home Grand Prix.

In Mexico, Rosberg took the race win which meant that Germany leveled with UK once again after the North America rounds.

For the first time, a brand new point system came during this season with the top 7 scoring points (10-8-6-4-3-2-1). Much like the brand new qualifying system, people would be complaining with the leader saying "this will help out in terms of the championship".

On the final race of the season held in Australia, the two Germans entries that competed retired from the race which left Damon Hill to take out the nation's title to the UK from Germany by seven points. The big news was that of Esteban Tuero who got the car to finish 8th overall and 5th in the Nations Race to give Argentina their first points since a while and Denmark scored their first points in the Nations Cup when Jan Magnussen finished 6th in Canada. But the Jordan victory in Belgium would not count for this as both drivers were below their team mates in what would be a crazy race but in the end it would be Finland who would take out the title in the final race of the season at Japan.

Entry list
Canada - Jacques Villeneuve
Germany - Heinz-Harald Frentzen, Michael Schumacher
UK - Eddie Irvine, David Coulthard
Italy - Giancarlo Fisichella, Jarno Trulli
Austria - Alexander Wurz
Finland - Mika Hakkinen, Mika Salo

Brazil - Pedro Diniz, Rubens Barrichello
Denmark - Jan Magnussen (1-7)
