Only two car slots are open (and in Grand Prix 2 if you run 28 cars the last 2 cars DNQ), so unless Miguel98 does not post by April 30th you'll only have 1 car to run so Miguel98 can run the other car.

I'll just run the 46 if that ends up being the case, with Thompson driving.

We'll continue with Roland Lambert with the same team as last year.

aggi hasn't been on in a month, so I doubt he'll turn up for it.

Also, I've done the 2020 season wiki page here, leaving out aggi's team due to them not having a certain future.

Thank you for doing that for me!

aggi has until the 30th to respond. If he does not, Miguel98 and TheFlyingCaterham will get a second car for their teams.

Fmecha and V8fan12 need to disclose which drivers they want for their open seats.

Alright, I will be starting up soon.

The following DEC owners need to post a profile or the Date of Birth for their respective drivers or I will set their age to 22 years old:

Jose Barnet (Normal32)
Sandy Gray (East Londoner)
Pedro Ramirez (Reject_Dom)

In addition, I've updated the calendar for the final time (hopefully) to coincide with Indycar's confirmed return.

Toronto is added back to the calendar, at the expense of Mid-Ohio. In addition some dates are moved around to coincide with Indycar weekends.

Note that the mid-season test at Mid-Ohio is now after the third weekend rather than the 4th weekend, so plan accordingly if you wish to have different drivers for the test.

I will now open for pre-season testing. The testing will be over two days and has a minor effect on performance. You may choose to elect one or two drivers for each day. The longer a driver tests, the more of skill bonus they can obtain. Having a driver test by themselves warrants a bigger bonus than if they shared the day with another driver.

Please post your entries as follows:

Code: Select all

Team:
Testing Day 1 Driver(s):
Testing Day 2 Driver(s):

You have until Monday, June 11 at 20:00 PST to post your plans, otherwise I will place both of your race drivers on for the test for both days.

Fastest Lap: Craig Ortega 1:36.791

Penalties:
Craig Ortega is given 3 penalty points for causing an avoidable collision. Ortega continued to drive his car as it was smoking, and cut across the entire length of the track as he exited turn 15 onto the start/finish straight, and tapped the side of Sandy Gray's car.

Curtis Hawking tapped the back of Tevin Robbins's car going into turn 1 at the start, and Robbins would retire from the race from an engine failure later on. An investigation by the stewards showed that Hawking's collisions were not responsible for the DNF, and he was given a warning.

The race had a slew of DNFs, almost all from engine failures. Brandon Lemke retired on Lap 3 from a tire puncture, while Robbins, Ortega, D'Orlando, and Mohnhaupt all retired from blown engines on laps 6, 8, 10, and 13 respectively. Ortega and Mohnhaupt's DNFs were of note, as the former retired from the lead of the race in a rather unprofessional manner, while Mohnhaupt suffered a bitter failure on the final lap, retiring from a potential 10th place finish on the final corner, having went without scoring any points last season.

Honda will investigate each engine failure to determine if there is a common flaw in the engines. Honda apologizes for the unrealibilty and will provide each affected car with a free engine.

Braden Eves spun his car on lap 17 on the exit of turn 3, leaving his car stuck on the road which lead to Pedro Ramírez colliding with the stricken car, taking out his own front wing. The stewards concluded that this was a racing incident and no further action was warranted.

The race had plenty of close battles for position throughout the field, with barely any incidents. Two noteworthy team battles occurred between Nouveau and Ortega, as well as Robbins and Lemke.

Vulcain was very fast today, lapping several cars on pace alone, leaving only 21 cars to finish the race on the lead lap on this short, fast circuit.

Re: 2020 NAF4: Lime Rock up! Mid-Season Test soon.

Post by CaptainGetz12 »

Mid-Season Test Preparations
Course: Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course (Full Layout, No Chicane)
Length: 2.25 mi

It is time for the Mid-Season Test, a chance to gain further experience with drivers, or to have new drivers test for future seats (Or to show off, like Sabrina Mann)

I will now open for pre-season testing. The testing will be over two days and has a minor effect on performance.

As with Pre-Season testing you may choose to elect one or two drivers for each day. The longer a driver tests, the more of skill bonus they can obtain. Having a driver test by themselves warrants a bigger bonus than if they shared the day with another driver.

Please post your entries as follows:

Code: Select all

Team:
Testing Day 1 Driver(s):
Testing Day 2 Driver(s):

You have until Monday, October 15 at 20:00 PST to post your test schedule. Otherwise I will have both of your current drivers test on both days.
