Autosport wrote:Hesketh to introduce new chassis for Belgium
The beleagured Hesketh team is set to introduce its first all-new chassis since 1976 at the upcoming round of the World Championship at Zolder. The 308E, designed under the leadership of Frank Dernie towards the end of 1977, has been repeatedly delayed due to the grave financial circumstances of the team, with final development reportedly completedby a skeleton crew of engineers.

Team Principal Anthony Horsley said in a statement that "the new 308E represents light at the end of the tunnel for Hesketh, and will hopefully see us return to sharper ends of the grid soon".

XXX BRDC International Trophy

Post by pasta_maldonado »

Budgets
Budgets are now updated after Monaco

Budgets
The preimer non-championsip F1 race will again return to Silverstone for the 30th running of the event. There are 28 spots up for grabs, and entries are now open! Only 26 cars can start the race, so if a maximum entry of 28 is reached, 2 cars will fail to qualify.

Full time team entries are capped to 7 teams. These 14 entries will be kept aside for FOCA entries.

Privateer teams must also enter 2 cars, with all remaining entries are open to Privateers (teams running less than the full season).

Entries will be assigned on a first-come first-serve basis.

A flat travel fee of £15,000 will apply to both Full time teams and privateers, so please bear this in mind. Full time teams and Privateer teams are limited to using their current chassis and engines.

Any driver currently signed to drive for all races for a team (including privateers) will automatically race for you if you so choose in the Trophy. You are free to sign different drivers, however, they will be subject to an RNG. Drivers for non-champiosnhip teams will also be subject to RNG. Wages do not have to be paid to any driver competing in a non-championship grand prix. However, injuries may still occur.

Teams have until 14/09/2018 to submit entries. Please remember that entries are on a first come first served basis and as a result the entry list will close when it is full.

Harvey Jones accepts the offer.

(I know Jones is not my DEC, but given he is a canon sensitive driver it makes sense to put him in any seat he can get. There will be a bonus for any team willing to take him on full-time)

As Interscope are competing in the full F1 season, they do not count as a privateer team. Therefore, there is only one entry left for full-time teams.

Privateer teams:
Team Name: British Formula One Racing Team

Driver #1: Stephen South [pending approval from TCBY]
Number: 38
Driver #1: Hope Stever (PD)

Having looked at the wiki page, it appears that there are no more privateers with the budget to enter the International Trophy. As a result, I will open up the rest of the entry list to full-time teams, meaning there is a total of 4 more entry slots to be had.

Yep, I’ll allow Asegurador in. Their entry and Minardi’s entry means there are just 2 slots left.
