IIDOTR - Australia
Second place goes to Stroll, I guess. He jumped Kvyat at the start, called the strategy correctly and bagged a solid points finish from a Q1 elimination.

And although the drivers are still struggling to overtake, it looks as though
1) it is easier to follow the man in front
2) it's Albert Park, which has produced 7 overtakes in it's last two Grand Prix (pretty sure I saw more than that today)
, so a provisional shoutout to the new aero rules as well, though I might be jumping the gun as I'm prone to doing.

Totally dominated his team-mate today, and him claiming he wanted those 26 points really made me happy. He seemed quite beat-up at the end of last year, and seeing his motivation floorish makes me happy. Let's see if he keeps it up...
Lance Stroll also gets a mention. He did a fairly solid job today, and despite getting helped by the Antonio Giovinazzi train of destiny that blocked Norris path in the mid-point of the race, Lance beated Perez today. A solid achievement overall.

Just saw the "Ricciardo needs no wings" sign and I now choose to believe that was a time travelling member of the GP Rejects forum so I nominate Time Traveller Rob Dylan

Honourable mentions to Lance Stroll - maybe he really is better than he's given credit for - and also Lando Norris, who's given the first clear indication that he wasn't promoted too early. Remember what happened this time in 2001 with some bloke called Kimi Räikkönen...
