The BBC have an article on Jamie Chadwick joining Formula Extreme.E, a championship I'd not heard about until I read the article. It's a new all-electric SUV offroad championship starting in 2021.

It'll be interesting to see if they manage to get any TV coverage for this, with each event being run over 3 days I suppose a 1-hour highlights package after it's finished is the best you might get (if anything)?

Here are a few articles from Autosport if you're interested (and if it doesn't take you over your number of free views for the month):

I remember seeing the word "docusport" from them, which as far as I can tell is an attempt to make the fact that there'll only be highlights seem innovative.
Edit: just read the article dr-baker recommended and now I feel like an idiot

Sorry, didn't mean for you to feel like an idiot. Only informed. Which you are now.

Re: Formula Extreme.E
Autosport reporting that each car in this series will be with two drivers. Nothing radical about that. But there's a twist. Each two-driver pairing will consist of a male and a female in order to promote gender equality.

Has anybody been following this? I watched the first season, missed the second, and I don't know what's going on this year.
